Presumably Hillary Deveaux (former head of the Bahamas Securities Commission and now a director of Investar Securities) peddled his influence to get the licensing Sebas Bastian needed for Investar Securities.

You forget to mention Dirk Simmons who worked for Citco before they shut down their Bahamas operations. Is he still serving as Island Luck's (Sebas Bastian's) CFO?

Did Sebas Bastian give Ed Fields his directorship of the BMG holding company as a quid quo pro for Ed's wife (Michele) issuing the insurance license? The cheese in Denmark never smells good when it comes to all those with ties to Sebas Bastian's various criminal enterprises!

It is indeed most frightening to think that Minnis accomplished so little for our public healthcare system while he was our Minister of Health yet he somehow thinks he can now accomplish so much as our Prime Minister. Truly a scary thought!

Bran was never an astute politician. For him it was all about Bran and the people all too easily sensed that. Also Bran's ties to Sebas Bastian's real estate development activities no doubt turned many Bahamians off.
