Bottom line remains: It stands to reason that the greedy power hungry dimwitted doc, having failed so miserably in opposition, stands absolutely no chance whatsoever of being able to lead an effective government for the benefit of the Bahamian people. Sadly the greedy power hungry dimwitted doc has other aspirations for himself and his select few cronies that have nothing at all to do with bettering the lives of most Bahamians finding it difficult to make ends meet on a daily basis.

Sarkis Izmirlian certainly has good grounds for a civil action against Fitzgerald and likely Perry Christie, Allyson Maynard-Gibson and Baltron Bethel. If Sarkis doesn't pursue a civil action it will be only because he was duplicitous in some of the earlier on shenanigans involving Baha Mar and the government. As for Justice Winder, he should be removed from our Supreme Court.

These corrupt politicians have been brainwashed into thinking that if they steer their crooked dealings to a family member or to a company or trust controlled by them or one or more of their family members, then there is no grave conflict of interest or criminality involved on their part. None other than Crooked Christie, Allyson Maynard-Gibson a/k/a the Evil Wicked Witch and the likes of Sean McWeeney have been behind this fallacious line of thinking by our most corrupt politicians. Minnis is no different and has admitted as much in his very flawed explanation of why he does not consider himself to have a serious conflict of interest arising from a generous lease agreement that the government (PHA) entered into with a company controlled by him at a time when he was Minister of Health.

Aahhhhhh! Now you play the race card. Now I know I'm darker than you are and thankfully gifted with much more sense! Well my lighter friend, I will leave it to you to name one country on the continent of Africa that has not been destabilized and f'd up by CIA instigated civil wars or by economic and social welfare programs initiated by the international agencies that are designed to bankrupt lesser developed countries. And all of this evil is done for the sole purpose of feeding the very greedy profiteering appetite of corporate interests domiciled mainly in the U.S. and OECD countries.

If voters are always voting for the best possible candidate running in their constituency, rather than along party lines, then that in itself should ensure that Minnis, Christie and McCartney never get elected.

Forget the fact that Toxic Fumes Fitz does not deserve to be a cabinet minister.....his criminal conduct warrants the pressing of charges....this man clearly belongs behind bars!

Sadly the really big picture escapes all but a very few. It is estimated there should be no more than about 180,000 legitimate registered voters eligible to vote on May 10th, 2017. Of the 180,000, approximately 90,000 (50%) live below the poverty line and another 45,000 (25%) are struggling daily to make ends meet. This means 75% of the registered voters are vulnerable to election fraud ('vote buying') in the form of political handouts by the governing party at the taxpayers expense, including temporary government jobs, or by way of outright 'gifts' from one or more of the three largest political parties, including cash. About 20,000 (11%) of the registered voters will not bother to vote and these individuals are mainly the more affluent among us who believe their vote will make no difference because there is little difference between the platforms, ideology and corruptness of the three major parties. So of the 160,000 legitimate registered voters who will actually vote, almost 135,000 expect to receive some form of compensation for their vote and will likely vote for the more 'generous' political party. But it only takes the support of about 106,000 or 66% of the total voters to guarantee a victory for a political party. At a 'gift' cost of, say, $1,000 per voter, the total cost of 'buying' the outcome of the impending general election is no more than about $106 million, which amount is a mere pittance compared to the billions of dollars the next government wants to get its greedy hands on over the next five years. Small wonder, Christie, McCartney and Minnis are each salivating at the thought of being PM and are each willing to spend whatever it takes to 'buy' the votes they so desperately need.

Very well put my friend. And one thing is for sure; neither Christie nor Minnis is a Statesman by any stretch of one's imagination. These two greedy power hungry individuals are only about one thing: Feathering their own nests and the nests of their select few favorite cronies at the expense of the Bahamian people!
