Lightbourn's political career has certainly been nothing to write home about and for all intents and purposes has now come to an end. It remains to be seen whether Richard "Tie The Tubes" Lightbourn will now do the right thing - not run for re-election or, better still, resign now!

It was a sad day indeed when the Bahamas under Ingraham decided to abandon its diplomatic recognition and support of Taiwan and instead side with mainland China.

I watched Minnis's speech at the convention last night. True to form, his entire platform is based entirely on bashing the PLP. He made many promises, but offered no details about what he would/could do to make good on on his promises. As most of us now know, he's certainly not the brightest crayon in the box and it is therefore easy to understand why he cowers from face to face publicly held debates with his opponents. This man very much prefers to cut deals behind the scenes without so much as a single ray of sunshine. If Minnis should ever become PM, he and his cronies will make Christie and Christie's cronies seem like harmless church choir boys!
