Blah, blah, blah, blah meanwhile BPL & BTC, still doesn't work, we remain inundated with non-tax paying Haitians and their massive tax burden, the country has an excess of foreign blue-collar workers repatriating hard currency by the $M100's damaging the local economy and destroying the commercial banking sector, illegals are working while Bahamians stand in soup kitchen lines begging for handouts and blah, blah, blah, blah!

The politicians that "lead" the country into all these problems that **"the people paid for"** should be held accountable!

SP says...

The jackasses elected as the government has never ever listened to the voices of the people to determine anything whatsoever, that is why we the people have to vote them out every 5 years!

Had the instant geniuses we elected over the decades listened to the people, we wouldn't have this illegal Haitian problem in the first place.

This group is obviously headed for cut-hip at the polls in 2022. We CANNOT bring the PLP back so we need to change direction with two new parties.

Successive PLP and FNM governments are the perpetrators of illegal Haitian migrants invading our country. It is unrealistic to expect them to police themselves to now make a 180-degree turn with the repatriation of these people.

These lousy politicians should be called out and held accountable for the damage they caused to our country at our expense!

Androsians made the right move. No illegal migrant from anywhere should be allowed to work while Bahamians are unemployed standing in food lines begging for handouts. It is obviously up to we the people to enforce the immigration laws of our country!

SP says...

Unfortunately, after the China - Perry Christie - Sarkis Izmirlian fiasco, Bahamians have a strong after taste for dealings with China, and like Perry Christie, they have made themselves their own worst enemies in the eyes of many.

Moultrie statement was an unimaginable asinine, stupid, blunder that has further eroded the peoples' trust, damaging the FNM.

I cannot believe Minnis had this big dunce sell the country out to China when it was the Americans that went all out to save our backsides after Dorian!

We the people cannot sit quietly by and allow ourselves to become slaves to China.

SP says...

LOL...."Minister Foulkes" has as much integrity as Santa Claus!

SP says...

Welcome to the club! The Bahamas has a "functioning government" and also cannot care for our own people right now, so we certainly better not be dupped into trying to care for illegal Haitians!

Regardless of Haiti's political and social problems, The Bahamas and tax-paying Bahamians **are not responsible** for their illegal migrants.

These people were an unsustainable burden on the country long before Dorian, and the situation is now quadruply magnified. Minnis and crew better get this right and immediately begin repatriating illegals at all cost before they cause more irreparable damage to the country!

I cannot believe you people are arguing among yourselves about biblical interpretations and allowing Minnis to get away with directing the narrative away from successive government stupidity.

What Is Truly A "Near Unbearable Wound To The Country" is Pindling, Ingraham, Christie and now Minnis are the architects of the shanty towns illegal inhabitants and now we taxpayers have to foot the bill of $100's of millions to house, feed, and care for them! It would have made far more sense and cost the country far less to have borrowed funds to humanely round up and repatriate illegals. The Dominican Republic successfully did it, and so can we if Minnis had the fortitude!

To add insult to injury, the international press looking for sensationalism is giving Bahamians and the Bahamas two serious black eyes by focusing mainly on the shantytown pile of rubble and depicting its former inhabitants as "Bahamians" not illegal Haitian migrants.

This inaccuracy has to be clarified if tourism is to rebound sooner rather than later. The minister of tourism needs to find the fortitude to address this misconception and be man enough to declare to the international press that those photos, people and destroyed communities being flashed across the globe every 20 minutes on every TV station are not bahamian but "illegal haitian migrants & their shantytown communities"!

Being politically correct is one thing, but for our government to continue being politically stupid to the detriment of the entire country is just asinine!

SP says...

Same as PM Minnis, US Senator Marco Rubio is purposefully refusing to face the fact that undocumented illegal haitians are 90% recipients of all relief donations.

Donald Trump is correct. However, he too didn't have the gonads to identify illegal Haitians
as the main threat preventing Bahamians ease of entry to the U.S.

From a humanitarian viewpoint, illegal Haitians must indeed be helped, followed by repatriation. Minnis cannot possibly be so stupid to believe illegals will register for his "tent city-dwelling" initiative. Not one illegal Haitian will set foot anywhere near tent cities!

It is no coincidence that murders and other crimes have already spiked since Minnis brought in 1000's of undocumented Haitian illegals. The stupid government didn't even have enough sense to fingerprint these illegals before setting them free to terrorize Nassau!

Asinine stupidity continues to be the order of the day with the government.
