Where are the native shows, night clubs, dinner shows, day trips, etc?
The only reason the Bahamas is flourishing and has succeeded to date in tourism is our proximity, and the tourist feels more comfortable, safer and can move about freely without being hassled here than many other competing destinations.
tourism Minister Dionisio D’Aguilar has absolutely **no clue** what caused the increase! He needs to admit his ignorance and find ways of increasing in-resort spend by encouraging Bahamians to get involved in new innovative ventures to provide new tours, excursions and entertainment for visitors.
It's just business as usual for Haitians. Surprisingly, the Bahamas couldn't implicate anybody for colluding with their Haitian counterparts in a corrupt business that could not have succeeded without Bahamian officials involvement!
Amazing! All kind of threats and fines for plastic but politicians can wheel, deal, rob the country blind and drive the entire country into the gutter without any fear of consequences!
The country was brought to where we now find ourselves after 50 years of PLP and FNM corruption!
No one from either side stepping forward to accept responsibility, and none of them can point a finger at the other. We are failing as a country due to political collaborative corruption.
Five decades of self-rule, $8Billion in debt, and we cannot keep the power on, cannot keep the phones on, cannot educate or provide employment for our people and cannot resolve crime or rehabilitate criminals and not one soul accepts any responsibility and the same people that brought us here wants us to vote for them again!
It is unfathomable Mavin Dames can even keep a straight face! The police are simply a legally armed gang of thugs, well known to have been abusing and torturing people for decades, with the full blessings of the PLP and FNM!
