Dr. Adrea Rollins analogy of Fitzgerald's nose will live forever. Maybe he thought he could swindle enough cash out of Sarkis to fix his nose? Surely, that thing will cost quite a bit to make anywhere near normal! LMAO...
Brent Symonette is the **j-a-c-k-a-s-s** that thought that raising government revenue by selling work permits was an ingenious idea, so he sold $20M in work permit fees which actually resulted in putting 1000's of Bahamians out of work, dramatically increased hard currency flight, caused the collapse of retail banking as expats only use money transfer services NOT banks and caused the crime index to soar as out of work Bahamians had to resort to criminal enterprises to put food on the table!
This man is the biggest **F-O-O-L** wearing a suit and tie in the country. If we do not get rid of him asap, More Bahamians will become destitute and find themselves in need of joining soup kitchen lines while Asians, Haitians, and Latinos live the Bahamian dream that WE created.
**NO!** Get rid of the good for nothing, useless, parasitic Haitians and health care cost would immediately drop 60%, elevating the need to tax Bahamians AGAIN for health care!
This is good news. Nobody with an ounce of sense cares what the PLP does! Now we need to work on getting rid the "all for me" thieving pirates once and for all!!
The Government has lots of problems to solve and limited capital to work with. Firstly, they need to focus on technology that brings ROI's like traffic camera systems that capture photos of traffic offenders license plate numbers, which can be automatically traced and the individuals ticketed fined through the post office.
In the Bahamas, a green light means look both ways, twice before moving forward. A yellow light means **speed up** and a red light means haul ass!
From my experiences driving in Nassau is like driving in a demolition derby, road traffic could make millions annually from people running red lights alone!
What honor is due for dumb and dumber for running the country into $5billion debt, failures at education, immigration, BEC, post office, BTC, tourism, financial services, foreign direct investment, employment opportunities, destroying the people and covering each other's backs to hide massive corruption?
These two jokers should be sharing a prison cell not being considered for any damn "honors"!
Thank GOD nobody listened to Hubert **Dumbass** Ingrahams' fear mongering stupidity that Baha Mar’s full entry into the market would spark a “price war to the bottom” with Atlantis because having two mega-resorts in Nassau was unsustainable. How the hell did this dumb idiot arrive at that conclusion? Will someone please show the "Little Dictator emperor" a photo of Vegas!
Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie couldn't find a dam tourist between the two of them if they were marooned on a mega cruise ship with 100,000 sun-seekers.
Mr. Sands is 110% correct that “Hotels, as a destination in and of themselves, don’t make The Bahamas".
**NOBODY** travels to a vacation destination to sit in a hotel room! Resort activities, excursion tours, and local flavored nightlife are the ingredients needed to enhance visitor appeal, satisfaction, and most of all recommendations to friends and family.
Pure dumb luck and proximity have the Bahamas benefiting, mainly from the most brutal winter in living memory affecting North America, coupled with several hurricane devastated Caribbean islands that either have not fully recovered or not properly marketed themselves informing winter travelers they are up and running.
Regardless, undoubtedly the Bahamas finds itself in an envious, prime, position!
The question now is "can this FNM government capitalize on this free ride opportunity, or will they maintain the repressive status quo that played a major roll in destroying the tourism goose in the first instance?
