Stupid does as stupid is without fail**!**

SP says...

LOL.....Maybe now this herd of genius idiots will be forced to look at making Junkanoo profitable by using Carnivals formula!

On second thought, why not maintain the Bahamas status quo and wait until more groups fail and Junkanoo totally collapse. Then call emergency meetings and reinvent the wheel.

Morons one and all!..Lol

SP says...

Absolutely astonishing that the U.S. and Canadian governments with cruise companies decided to bury these damming statistics but they all have no problem issuing frivolous warnings about imagined sexual assualts and dangers of the Bahamas!

These figures confirm tourist are safer in Nassau, or any port anywhere else than on the cruise ships themselves.

Has anyone ever heard of a "safety advisory" issued against any cruise company? **How the hell is that possible?**

SP says...

@ DDK Agreed, "Tourism should be a sizeable part of the equation". However, to make Junkanoo sustainable and on the road to becoming profitable, Junkanoo has to evolve into a Carnival type modus operandi allowing crowd participation with locally produced Junkanoo costumes, concerts, road rages, beer fest, food fairs, etc' from Xmas through to new year.

It's the economy stupid! These well-fed, fat, morons still don't understand that unemployed/underemployed households cannot afford to throw away $50.00 on Junkanoo regardless when it is held, especially with their lights still off.

Lange is full of fresh steaming horse-shyt. The WTO **can not, and will not** consider negotiating a sweetheart deal exclusively just for the Bahamas or every other country will strongly object!

Mr. 49% is the same as 51% Lang said: "little had changed since The Bahamas’ last Working Party meeting in September." That is because nothing can be changed and the WTO has no inclination of changing anything.

The only "strategic mechanism to offer these sectors the best opportunity to compete" is for us NOT to join WTO in the first instance. And if these bozos are indeed stupid enough to join the WTO, those vulnerable Bahamian businesses, manufacturers and other industries must have the right to have a foreign competitor expelled or removed from the country upon proving a Bahamian firm is capable of producing on an acceptable level.

WTO is simply a scam that allows 1st world countries the golden "legal" opportunity to rape, pillage and manipulate Governments of smaller countries and influence the cost of products they produce,

July to mid-November was like death by a thousand cuts for businesses. With over 20 years in business, I have never experienced anywhere near the depressed sales for this period.

Let us not forget to pay honor where it is due and thank Hubert Alexander Ingraham and Perry Gladstone Christie, who while fooling most people by calling themselves honorable men, strutted around chest out and heads held high in our Parliament for 25 years for their absolute mastery job of phucking up what used to be one of the topmost prosperous countries in the region!

Ingraham, Christie, and their crew of minions deserve all that is coming to them. Amen!

SP says...

Pure, absolute, bullshyt! Marvin Dames needs to stop insulting our intelligence talking this nonsense as everyone already knows crime is directly linked to unemployment.

As, and if the economy improves crime will similarly decrease. There is nothing the PLP or FNM can do to reduce crime with the exception of decreasing unemployment!

SP says...

"Clueless morons" is an understatement about these jackass's we call "leaders".

How and why the hell can US law enforcement officers be involved when pot is legal in more than 22 states?

No more PLP or FNM for me!!

Nobody should be surprised with 17% unemployment and 6,000 people living in darkness and can't pay their light bills that many people find it impossible to find $50.00 to throw away on a non-essential item like Junkanoo!

This is a classic example of what's happening throughout the economy as expat blue-collar workers do not patronize Junkanoo or local merchants.

Unfortunately, Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie were too thick to understand the dynamics of an economy and the all-important role of keeping Bahamians employed as blue-collar workers to keep money floating through the economy.
