**Duh!** Somebody finally conceded "The implications in terms of lost jobs, lost revenue to the government and lost fisheries resources is in the tens of millions of dollars…This is a serious threat to national security and economic growth."
Pindling, Ingraham, and Christie should be bullwhipped, cowcocked, tar and feathered, shot and hung for the stupidity they allowed to thrive in our country!
Leaders around the world mourn the loss of a truly great man, and leader, with a legacy to be proud of!
**Kofi Annan** - “A good leader is a good listener. A good leader is also a good follower." “We need true democratic leaders who understand that they are at the service of the citizens and not the other way around. Leadership is service. Leaders must understand that they hold power in trust of the people and it can also be taken away.”
The "one man band" and "dancing clown" were incapable of listening, following or integrity!
They had the opportunity to make positive changes impacting the lives of Bahamians for generations to come but they missed the mark by unquantifiable measurements.
Looking at how they misdirected our country into a near-failed state, and judging from the comments here and on the street, Ingraham and Christie should hang their heads in shame!
After 25 years of "leadership" by these two clowns, and from the state of our country, Christie and Ingraham unquestionably deserve the dumb and dumber award!
I unequivocally refuse to read anything from this muppet. Without question, Bannister removing the entire board is beyond conscionable, and would never have happened under a PLP government regardless of the degree of meltdown.
If something isn't working, by all means, get rid of it asap and move on!
Nobody should be the least surprised Dominican poachers are leaving Bahamas fishing grounds “almost completely dead”. After all, they overfished and decimated their own fishing grounds many years ago!
Today we are reaping the rewards of decades of PLP and FNM procrastination, complicity, and corruption, which facilitated Dominican and American commercial fisherman overfishing our waters 24/7/365 to the point of the present devastation.
RBC rushed to downsize and digitizing its retail and personal banking division, but neglected to do the same with Finco!
How is it in 2018 that Finco clients are not afforded the convenience of digital services? If a skimming incident occurred, customers have no way of knowing unless they physically visited an ATM. This is highly unusual for a banking institution and most annoying.
Chasing rhetorical questions and debating unquestionable failures are totally nonproductive. People must find a way to get past the tribal bias which allowed a handful of artful individuals to separate and destroy what once was the most envied resort destination and people in the region.
Opinions are like anuses, everybody has one, but not everybody has one that works properly. Instead of berating the governments' decision, people with experience should be offering possible alternative solutions and putting suggestions on the table for consideration.
Bahamians need to learn to pull together for the betterment of us all, like other ethnic groups that are thriving in our country while we continue struggling as sole entities and tearing each other down.

Finders fees perhaps? A large number of funds changed hands in the transaction which means kickbacks and other "incentives" were very possible.
