Thinking people understand that when properly utilized, the countries natural resources are the badly needed lifeline we need to tap into to educate our populace, stave off the national debt, improve infrastructure, boost ownership of local development, and enable social services to secure the generations of Bahamians left behind by decades of asinine political stupidity, greed, corruption, and failure.

Christie and Ingraham were colossal failures that covered up and watched each other's backs while a handful of pirates ran away with the peoples' natural resources. They are equally guilty of nurturing a culture of endemic corruption, which destroyed the country, marginalized Bahamians, and favored foreigners even when qualified Bahamians were available.
Regardless which of the dumb and dumber couple did more damage, we the people are totally fed up with the PLP and FNM.
It is way past time for the country to move away from these greedy, tribal, equally corrupt parties, and look for a new group without ties to corrupt pirates that have mislead the country for 7 decades.
Bahamians are not stupid. So far PM Minnis is "all talk" about routing corruption. The FNM under Ingraham held power longer than the PLP under Christie so why haven't they mentioned a single instance of corruption in past FNM governments? And why haven't they addressed the natural resources issue?

PM Minnis must realize by now targeting the countries leading endemic cast of corrupt pirates and allowing the old FNM gangsters into his party and inner circle was the perfect recipe for failure!
How could Minnis have thought he was going to root out corruption knowing top crooks would be affected? These devious people worked long hours to set Minnis up so he ended up exactly where he now finds himself.
The plan is to cause a no-confidence move on Minnis, force an election and have him replaced by a well-known pirate.
We the people see them coming and will vote the DNA into office before going back to the FNM or PLP!
While the government makes some “unpopular” decisions and “break a few eggs” to achieve its target of a balanced budget by 2020, they must consider that Bahamian "eggs" are not the only ones that should be seen affected as usual!
They better make sure expats are seen to share a proportionate level of "egg breakages" too.
While "the committee" is running around talking about "the most important thing in the exercise that we are doing is that we want to be sensitive and humane" Haitians are breaking every law in the country, running circles around these clowns and laughing all the way to Western Union sending funds back home to bring in more illegals!
The governments' new duck, dodge, and parry moves are to only knock down "subpar" structures in the shanty towns.
This means an "upgraded" version of illegal shanty towns still being allowed, which ultimately translates to **no change whatsoever** leaving all illegal activities and Haitian parallel economy totally in tack to carry on unabated!
Dion Foulkes just needs to add a "little shuffle and hair dye" to his doubletalk, backsliding, and bullshyt and we'll have another Perry Christie complete with smoke, mirrors, and flimflam.
