There are more questions than answers on this $200 million development of The Pointe in downtown Nassau!
This disproportionate Bahamian employment issue is just the tip of the iceberg of problems to come when this facility is completed and Bahamians realize that Chinese will be enjoying the majority of spending from tourism in our country, with no Bahamians in sight!
Has anyone figured out that the entire purpose of this development is to create a huge entertainment center targeting cruise ship passengers?
The Chinese will own and operate the single largest resort activities "fun location" in the Bahamas at the Point. Bahamians will not be able to participate and will NEVER be able to compete for cruise ship spend after the Point opens.
We can thank the dancing jackass for taking this concept which was originally proposed to the PLP in 2012 by a well-financed Bahamian group for an Arawak Cay development, and selling us out to the Chinese.

Amsterdam legalized personal use amounts of cannabis since 1950, it is sold in coffee shops openly on the streets, has no reports of "fried brain" problems, and is a much more civilized, advanced country than the Bahamas EVER will be.
We are a backward, stupid, little country with little hope of progressing because we are too dumb to learn what works from other countries, after having our "brains fried" by tribalism and 6 decades of asinine political stupidity and corruption!
After silently watching this Oban fiasco from the beginning, there are still more questions than answers. Quite a bit of this deal doesn't pass the smell test!

Could this explain why PM Minnis has totally ignored the obvious by not focusing on tapping into our natural resources to rescue the Bahamas in our time of greatest need?
Are the Bahamas doomed as long as any compilation of PLP or FNM governs the country?
Should "we the people" demand a fresh mandate and force PM Minnis to call an election so we can try the DNA or others not compromised by decades of systemic corruption?
If the "seven" stick together and focus on freeing up the peoples' natural resources, they will find themselves with more support than Minnis overnight!
