What we are witnessing in Haiti today started many years ago when drug dealers and gangs became the people's leaders by default as the government became almost totally nonfunctional and the people began relying on drug dealers and gangs for everyday necessities.

Corruption brought Haiti to where it is today and nothing short of rooting out that corruption is ever going to lead to any measurable meaningful change.

The same systemic corruption among the elite class in the Bahamas also now has us fast-tracked to becoming another Haiti! Indeed serious crime and murder are now the norms, and the government has no idea how to stop the carnage. In essence, the government is already past the stage of losing control of crime.

PRIME Minister Philip “Brave” Davis and caricom can meet and discuss Haiti until hell freezes over, regardless, Haiti and the Bahamas could never change until corruption and the unimaginable graft among our leaders and their cohort of leeches are rooted out.

Singapore was in the exact same position until they decided to get serious and "make corruption a crime" to enable them to prosecute crooked politicians and the elite group of leeches that were destroying the entire country.

The Bahamas needs to follow Singapore's example however, this can only be achieved if "we the people" stand up in mass against stifling systemic corruption and unimaginable graft among leading crooked politicians and their supporting cast of leeches, friends, family, and lovers.

PRIME Minister Philip “Brave” Davis has been dancing around this issue for quite some time but he never admits to Haiti's biggest problem which is the government and the elite class's greed and systemic corruption that is the real cause of the mess known as Haiti!

They are reaping exactly what they sowed, and the only way out is to put the well-known political and elites in prison where they belong and restructure the governance to avoid the recurrence of the massive graft among "friends, family, and lovers" that caused the economy to collapse into the hands of gangs.

**Nothing tangible will come of the caricom focus on Haiti** because they don't have the gravitas to call a spade a spade and acknowledge corruption is the main issue that destroyed Haiti and has the Bahamas on the same slippery slope and finds ways and means to deal with the corrupt political and elite class in Haiti and the Bahamas.

Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson needs to be seriously looked into!

Haitians, Haiti, Haitians, Haiti, Haitians, Haiti, why is solving Haitians and Haiti's problems our governments' number one priority?

The Dominican Republic is joined at the hip with Haiti, it has the biggest problem with illegal Haitian migrants, and is logistically the best choice to stage help for Haiti, so it should be the one taking the lead to help Haiti. Why the Bahamas?

Our country is in crisis on many fronts. Serious crime is off the chain, rampant and worsening unemployment, inadequate health care, runaway inflation, uncontrolled school gang violence, poor standard of education, seriously overwhelmed social services, etc.

Were these matters discussed with Mr. Trudeau, the French or the U.N.?

We need to change the focus and narrative from Haitians, Haiti, Haitians, Haiti, Haitians, Haiti, to Bahamians, Bahamas, Bahamians, Bahamas, Bahamians, Bahamas, Bahamians, Bahamas!

WTF? We can't get a call through to bpl, nib, vat, and any number of government entities but someone can call the PM?

**HOW?**

SP says...

PM Davis is throwing this, death threats, and anything else including the kitchen sink against the wall in a desperate attempt to change the narrative away from the Haitian invasion!

Your feeble efforts cannot work Brave because our country is so inundated with Haitians they are the first people Bahamians run into every day and all damn day!

We see and hear more Haitians than Bahamians in most of our country.

Pindling must have seen this coming prompting him to say **"if Bahamians are not willing to fight for their country, they don't deserve to have it."**

Well, it is now the time to fight!

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. What intelligence was collected from these illegal migrants?

Who financed their journey? What contacts do they have in the Bahamas? Who was their contact in Haiti/Cuba?

These people are broke. How did they acquire funds for the journey? What is the government doing to dissuade Haitians/Cubans already in our country from engaging in financing and facilitating human smuggling?

Illegal Cubans, Haitians, Asians, Latinos, etc' only keep risking their lives coming to the Bahamas because they have family and friends here helping them find under-the-table employment here.

To stop the tsunami of illegals **arriving dailey** the government only simply needs to stringently enforce the laws of hiring illegals. Haitians do not go to Long Island because Long Islanders do not employ Haitians. Likewise, they would stop coming here if they knew no one would hire them.

360-degree Jackass Keith Bell his PLP and the FNM are nowhere nearly serious about stopping illegal migration.

The government failed the people in every sphere of governance and is now reaping what they have sowed.

Haiti is a prime example of what happens when governments and their elite leaches are systemically corrupt.

It is not a simple matter of ignorance. Disenfranchised, hungry, suffering, and broke people will at some time reach their breaking point. These people are eventually always the ones that cause leadership changes throughout history.

Had the PLP and FNM simply taken care of the average Bahamian instead of themselves, friends, family, and lovers the smoldering powder keg(s) could not exist. If no foreigners occupied jobs that Bahamians could do, there wouldn't be any unemployment and much less reason for people to be disgruntled.

The PLP and FNM were obviously terrified and running scared of Lincoln Bain before the last election and are doubly more so now. We can expect more outrageous accusations and any number of attempts to associate Mr. Bain and his group with everything negative from this point on including bad weather in their attempt to derail the call for fairness and real change!

**In case we forgot, first, there was Ranard Henfield who had enough of a following to easily topple the government.** He was bribed into silence.

Should they succeed in stopping Mr. Bain, another person, perhaps a much more militant, violent individual(s) will fill the void as the situations and problems will continue to deteriorate vacuums do not last. It is inevitable.

I have absolutely not an once of sympathy for those affected as they should not have been there in the first place!

They have reached out to (The Department of) Social Services? Well Social Services better not touch 1 penny of my tax dollars to help any illegals! I see dozens of Bahamians pan handling begging for help all over the place. Even Obie Whilchcomb is shocked at the number of Bahamians in need of assistance.

Immigration needs to do their job and use this opportunity to repatriate any illegals found in the area!

Mr/s. Fertil and their twins need to pack up and go back to Haiti and be very thankful for the 18 year free ride off the backs of suffering Bahamians who they deprived of jobs, education, health care and Social Services!

Enough is enough and we had too much!
