Ohhhhh geez! If you are fully vaccinated, the online process to get the Bahamas Health Visa is actually very simple and only takes 5 minutes. I've personally completed this process on two occasions in the past 4 months for myself, my wife, and two teenage daughters. Again, that is IF you are fully vaccinated. If you are vaccinated, the process is more cumbersome.
As for cost, if you are fully vaccinated, the cost if $45 per person. If you aren't fully vaccinated, the cost is $65 per person. To me, the only "issue" with the online Health Visa is the cost -- not necessarily the process of getting it approved.

If you are a Doctor and refuse to the take the vaccine and then you die from Covid -- I have ZERO sympathy for you.

For both of my shots, I sat there and watched the nurse/tech withdrawal the vaccine from the vile and then stick it in my arm. Super easy and not a big deal. Also, I'm sure, had I asked, she would have shown me the dates/info on the side of the vile.

You are clueless! My family will be coming to the Bahamas this weekend for the 2nd time in the past two months. The first time we brought a group of 11 and this time a group of 13 -- all tourist. The Health Visa is extremely easy to fill out online and only takes about 5 min from start to finish (if you are vaccinated). It's certainly NOT a hinderance or roadblock to visiting your country. Where are you getting your "facts?"

Yet another embarrassment from the Immigration department. What a complete disregard for basic human rights and due process of law. Something like this should NOT drag on for over a year!! China has a freakin Embassy in the Bahamas. This shouldn't be too difficult to work out a solution.

In addition to increased education on the topic of health, sex, etc... how about easy & free access to birth control? Teenagers will always be teenagers regardless of what the age of consent is. In their eyes, the age of consent isn't even on their minds or in the picture. In other words, it is irrelevant to a teenager. But what is relevant is the fact they will have sex and with increased access to birth control -- many of the unanticipated pregnancies can be avoided.

Let's try... more birth control education and more access to birth control. That is a good and very easy step one. In addition, more access and education to adoption as a solution to an unwanted pregnancy. And lastly, more access and education to abortion as a very, very last resort.

The combination of these three strategies may help alleviate children having children and folks having babies they have NO intention of raising or caring for.
