The land that Embassy is located on is technically part of America. It isn't owned by the Bahamas. Therefore, they are FREE to fly any damn flag they wish. If you don't like... you don't have to LOOK at it.
This is a perfect example of how the various cruise lines "own" or control our government. We have sold our souls too many times to these cruise line corporations and this is what we get. Nobody should be too surprised. It's a shame that our government, even with this type of embarrassing example, still won't stand up and confront these corporations. We have officially become the slave to a new master.
Porcupine... you are 110% correct!!! And what is even more sad... if he runs again in '24 -- their are still millions and millions of morons that will vote for him yet again.
Holy smokes Kevin!!!!!! I can easily think of 137 more important and pressing things in our country that are much, much more important than the FEAR of Hinduism spreading throughout the Bahamas. Why on Earth are you wasting your time and energy on such a meaningless topic? Furthermore, any time someone speaks of other religions and they are scared or worried about other religions, that either signals that person is 1) extremely ignorant, and/or 2) that person is extremely insecure. Worst case -- both!
This might be the BEST letter/editorial I've read in a long, long, long time! It is simply mind-blowing the lack of common sense in our leaders. Clearly, as mentioned in the letter, there has been an issue with this for over 30 yrs. Fortunately, there is an EASY solution and one that has already been implemented in Jamaica.
