The Bahamas is heading one way - and it ain't the way that benefits the majority of its citizens. The future is cloudy with an 80% chance of multiple Cat 4 hurricanes.
Start saving peeps because income tax is coming before the next election and that salary you're getting now is going to be decreased substantially.
He is an excellent spin doctor. On the world stage though he is a child compared to Ryan Pinder. Most other top leaders would immediately see Mr. Munroe's arrogance and bravado as a cover for his insecurities and weaknesses. Our country would suffer if he were to become AG.
The Tribune should keep this photo at hand because when the infighting for leadership starts in 2 years this will fun to see again. I suggest the PLP start planning now for the inevitable hand-over of leadership to Sebas rather than risk fracturing the party. You have firm control now and for the foreseeable future... don't risk Sebas and his dozen or so followers crossing the isle.
Sadly it is difficult to celebrate the results. however... we can celebrate democracy and another round of free and fair elections. The process seems to have gone well. Now we are Bahamians first and foremost.
I have to admit that the PLP have certainly cracked down on immigration - more than anytime and any party in the past. You don't hear of many (if any) illegal landing anymore.
The problem I have is HOW they are doing it. Their strategy appears to be... if you want to come in illegally you have to come through the party - not through the department of immigration. We appear to be just selling citizenship.
The country will literally collapse if the PLP get another term. They simply don't know how to manage the people's money. They choose travel over welfare.
In a way I want to see how they will fund the next 5 years if they do win. They will be borrowing money from the number 1 number's man just to be able to pay salaries. Shoots... they may even make the treasury play numbers in the hopes of winning enough to pay the BPL bill for government house!!!
In 5 years the PLP will never be voted in again EVER if they win this election. The people will be so poor. Tens of thousands of parents will probably re-enroll in high school - not only to finally get their diploma but to get the free breakfast. Things ga be real rough if the PLP win.
The PLP ilk are successful at one thing though... destroying our country. Every time they are in power they bring the country to its knees through greed and corruption. Now they are intentionally making the Bahamian people disgusted towards them, by promising to hand out crown land to only a few, so they lose this election on purpose because there's no more money in the treasury and they know that only the FNM can return the country to some semblance of economic stability. the plp gotta go!! no if's, BUT's or MAYBE's.

Way to go Sebas. Looking forward to seeing you elevated to the Minister of Finance. You are the sensible choice.
