Pray tell who of the indigenous people will hear this apology about colonization? As far as I know none of us can trace our roots back to the native Indians who owned this land before slavery.

The slavery apology I can understand, but the colonization... Let's leave the colonization apology to the natives.

As for slavery... perhaps we should first ask for apologies from the people who first enslaved us in Africa. The black African tribes who raided small villages and raped and slaughtered and enslaved people so that they could sell them to the white man.

On what grounds did the court side with the government. The article states that they had a strike certificate which is granted by Minister of Labor. Why would the Minister of Labor issue knowing that any strike would be a widespread disruption to public services and the public interest and thus overruled by the courts? The whole process doesn't make sense when in reality the teachers can only strike on weekends or school breaks - during which periods they will continue to be ignored by government. The unions might as well close up shop.
