But here we give the land to friends and family who have no money to build a decent, safe, sanitary structure with no sewerage hookup and barely running water for kitchen staff to wash their hands. And the government surrounds the canal with dilapidated, sunken boats so that the area looks like a dumpsite, with leaking fuel and oil contaminating the conch we eat sitting and living just underneath the surface. And Brave's new vision will be.... let the people rebuild the wooden shacks. Or he'll spend the people's money building several stalls for his supporters who will complain about every last detail and end up putting wood structures up on top of and in front and behind whatever structure is built. With a sign saying... "if you need to pee or take a nanny, the broken toilets are across the street - or you can pee in the canal out back."
What an embarrassing comment to be made by a Bishop of all people. The rules of Christianity according to the 'good' Bishop - if it's unguarded then of course you should take it, it's a normal thing.
The poor morality of the Bahamian people clearly falls at the feet of our corrupt governments and so many of our "religious" leaders.
If the guy's found guilty then they should be able send him to hell. Give him a beating at the top of every hour until their fists hurt and their feet can't stomp any more. And then throw the fella a noose.
Why didn't you include Pindling (at the end of his run) and Christie as well? For you just to mention Papa is sadly expected. Just admit that this, and ALL previous governments, have failed us when it comes to our medical system.
Cheaper Mr. Deveaux spend his energy preaching to the other jet ski operators to get them to better the industry's huge, and consistent, black eye. The general public wants you jet ski gangs removed from our beaches permanently, so you won't get any sympathy here.
I'm looking forward to hearing from the JCNP and to their change of heart. Some serious offers must have been made by this sleazy government to secure this deal. The PLP causes so much turmoil it's disgusting.
