As far as street lights are concerned, shouldn't the careless drivers who run into them be responsible for their replacement? Does the government/police even include details like this in their police reports?
The PLP have lost the plot and their minds obviously. Sad that they can stay in power even after showing no regard for the Bahamian people. They can't read our understand contracts and they don't know what the rule of law is or even means. We have a country run by clowns.
Are we sure Davis has a legal background. Based on his comments I would say NO!!! Perhaps he's never heard of a counterclaim and the reasoning behind filing counterclaims after having to defend a frivolous lawsuit? Please Bahamas educate yourself so that you don't listen to hogwash and then elect morons based on it.
Birdie are you happy with the fact that WE the people now have to pay the bills for both our lawyers and the lawyers for GBPA? This failure of our government and dare I say 'fools' at our Office of the Attorney General who thought they had a case for $300million, when in fact they can only get max. $500k a year going forward?
The monumental win was for the GBPA. The Tribunal found that the MOST the government is entitled to is $15.5million for the years 1994 to 2025 ($500k a year under paragraph 3) - and this is still in dispute, so they may end up with nada until 2027.
I guess this punk will be in prison for attempted murder? Do we hang for that? I think we should as only luck saved people from dying. This punk tried his best to kill the uncle and planned the attack, so hanging him is the right thing to do. Also, if he doesn't give up the name of the guy who sold/rented him the gun then he should NOT be eligible for a reduced sentence!!!
I can only assume that we will soon hear about the Bahamians who were involved in this scheme at the passport office? Hopefully their names will also be made known to the public and all of their financial records (including gaming accounts) will be reviewed by police to see what strange and unexplained cash deposits have taken place.

Ask Davis what these so called 'safeguards' are? Can't wait to hear him stutter and ramble on trying to answer that question.
And the PLP hear his 'we've got safeguards in place' and are celebrating having such an incredible and prepared leader. ROFL!!!!

Why does Davis say that the decision is confidential and then post the whole document on the governments website? Are we sure he's a real lawyer???

Bribery is clearly not a crime here. Come to think of it... when the PLP is in power is anything a crime? Hmmm.
