What astonishes me is the bus drivers never complain about being able to get their own licence plates or even their own buses. They seem quite content to be racing around to make a couple dollars just to pay it over to politicians who own the plates and busses. Then I wonder a little more and realize that the country is full of D students - and I mean full of them, and these are the guys driving busses and taxis but essentially working for other people when they could very easily be working for themselves. They just too stupid to realize it.
$500 million less 50% in kickbacks that leaves about $250 million to be spent on machinery, materials and fees. So.... 2 new generators and some cabling.
This must be yet another portal run by OMNI. We are forced to use these portals and god only knows who gets access to this information. criminals running tings round here!!
Don't tell me the government doesn't have any money? The country broke? Not surprising with this government. All the people's money locked up in private safes.
Even if we start now we have 10's of thousands of grown Bahamians who are under-educated and can barely perform in menial jobs - and that's if they bother to show up for work. Sadly their offspring take on similar attitudes and show up to work when they feel like it. If we start educating kids today it will take at least a decade for us our work force to start to improve.
Who's bank is this 120 million in exactly? It certainly isn't the people's bank. Maybe a bag man is holding it for a little while for us??? Your people so slack they can't even confirm that the money was received!!! Corrupt as the day the PLP was founded.
Let us think about this logically. How do the most people make the most profit when dealing with BPL? It's not in the maintenance. It's not in the daily operations. The big profit and quick money is in buying the machinery. For some reason middle men are always contracted out to secure the generators even though BPL can go direct. If generators do not have catastrophic failures or catch on fire then there's no money to be made. The machines MUST be replaced so that cronies can make money.

It really makes you wonder how any PLP's get elected or are hired for senior posts? It's just a party of incompetent and corrupt people.
