Early election for sure. Promising everyone civil worker a substantial pay rise (but not now... wait till September).
Sadly every civil servant knows that this does not mean that they will receive it. Any increase will go unpaid with a promise to catch up what is owed - in installments of course.
$140k?!?!?! One has to assume that only 2 people work in the office. Sorry.... 2 people are paid to work in an office. Once you factor in rent, office supplies, car and gas allowance and utilities then of course nothing will ever be produced from these 2 individuals. And from my recollection doesn't every request have to go through the Minister who gets to say 'no'? Corruption don't like freedom of information.
Wow. His supporters (PLP) are saying that cabinet was to blame for his lack of performance. That cabinet got in his way. Man that's rough for the PLP. They have a serious uphill battle ahead of them. From endless corruption to a cocaine induced pie in the sky budget - people are very concerned that the PLP aren't capable.
A budget surplus doesn't mean that there will be a surplus. Budgets can say anything especially if those in charge of signing off on the budget have NO IDEA what they're looking at.
Any non-lawyer who has had a real job would knows this. Even the ministers sitting beside him are staring into space on this one.
But the rules only changed when old orange came to town. Before then students and citizens could gather peacefully to show their unhappiness for war and crimes etc. Now if one foreign student protests the entire education system has to bend the knee. Is this logical or sensible in your world?

The PLP too shady. That last thing they want is an investigation or oversight or the rule of law to be upheld. They crooked bad.
And you know it's serious when Birdie rushes to defend a Commission that gets no budget. Like we're living in a cartoon world... buggs bunny for real.
