The lack of a fire truck situation is a bit different as government has been failing the Bahamian people from independence.
And all they have to do to immediately alleviate traffic coming from Gladstone road is to widen the waiting area onto the roundabout by 8 ft in order to allow two cars to be waiting instead of one.

COVID-era restrictions??? Those were silly then so they're REALLY silly now. Can't the person in charge just write a note lifting those restrictions? I mean... come now. Who's in charge of this? Have they been in a coma or something and were never replaced?

Everything in The Bahamas is a joke every time. We just can't get out of our own way. No planning. No critical thinking. Coupled with the poorest quality of execution (every time) - we simply have to ALWAYS settle for less.
I can only assume that the US won't move on the Bahamian politician until they lose in the election. We won't have to wait long. Hopefully this politician will sing as well because they can't keep the whole bribe for themselves.
Do the bars to our cells not lock or something? Or do we just ask our good citizens who carry around unlicensed hand guns to please sit there by the front door while we process you? If you need to use the toilet you can use the one across the street because the one in the precinct don't work.
