Agreed. I'm not a big fan of her ways but I gotta say though, that she don't care which party is in power - she always pushes for more and better for her members.
@Licks Don't be so ignorant. Why you bringin' color into this? Racist much?? The rental business has always been a thorn in the boungie hole of the Bahamian taxpayer. Yes I would have loved to get on that money train but sadly I've had to work for the money I have. You on the other hand sound like Sebas got you covered??????
The Cable Beach branch has a bunch of ATM's. Sadly the Bank doesn't seem willing or able to keep them in service. Perhaps its a programing issue or the local service people aren't up to the task and they need to call in technicians from Canada to reboot the system after every power surge?
This is what happens when a system of governance and government is corrupt. Nothing will come of this as there is too much money circulating and nobody in the organization or government wants it to end. This will only end when they find a more lucrative scheme - which may be at BPL, but by all accounts it looks like the National Investment fund is where the big and easy bucks are at the moment. NIB used to be the cash cow for politicians, then BoB was added into the mix, but was set up too stupidly to survive scrutiny. The last election cycle was Beaches and Parks but I doubt that will last long as the contracts shouldn't be that large and that obvious. DUH!!! Of course the office space rental is a massive money maker for politicians and their cronies and can withstand scrutiny. Let the corruption continue!!!!!

I'm almost certain that they don't get to keep most of it though. That sort of easy money always bubbles all the way up to the bravest dog.
