No way Uber can come here. We soundly reject organized service with known fares. We must be independent in choosing to where we will drive; whom we will allow into our vehicles (tourists only) and whether or not we will give change to our passengers. And to force our taxis to be roadworthy vehicles - foget about it!!!!
The economy is on life support every time the PLP leave office. Somehow they always seem to drain all of the accounts and have hundreds of millions of dollars due to cronies within months of them losing an election.
Waste of time running against the FNM and the independent (Minnis). We won't even consider putting a PLP in this area - not until they get the 'corruption' label off their back.
What is going on here??? Is the PLP actually trying to scare away all of their voters in Grand Bahama? Are they throwing this election? Why on earth would they announce such a scary proposition to the people of Grand Bahama so close to election time? The government run BPL has been an utter disaster and only gets worse every year under either administration. BPL bills are high plus they are unreliable. And the PLP wants to bring this catastrophe to GB. The people of GB must have crapped their pants thinking that the government intends on doing the same thing to them.
Come now Birdie don't be so sensitive. This has been failing for successive administrations, not just this one or the last.
Are you just upset that your boys let it get even worse under their leadership? All while boasting of the best economy in generations and record revenue etc., etc. I would be upset too if i voted for these CLOWNS!!!!
Agreed. But ask people about the solar project at the new stadium and what those panels are running. Whatever project government is involved in will be very short lived. Our people simply won't maintain anything until it's broken.
