My two daughter's may have to fight for their children to get citizenship under these archaic rules and our family has been here for almost 400 years. I would absolutely go berserk in the passport office if my grandkids didn't get a passport at birth - no matter my daughters' marital status or where on God's green earth their children were born. think people!!!! Even a D average should be able to get you across this basic line.
How else are we going to put the spotlight on this very important issue. Only with the help of our idols will we be able to convince the population that our laws in this respect have to change. When our olympic athlete's child can't get citizenship then there is obviously something very wrong and the people need to realize it.
Have you ever thought about releasing the young men in prison for a joint and non-violent crimes so that we can keep the murderers locked up instead? Just my common sense talking - sorry if it doesn't make sense to you.
Lol Brave is suddenly way out of his depth trying to defend him and his party. Did you hear him last week trying to defend the insurance VAT issue? Could only laugh. He sounded like a 5 year old getting caught with marshmallows in his mouth. Uttering non-sensical facts and excuses.
If BPL would close it's legs and stop Shell from treating it like a $2 crack whore then we could begin to move the country forward. Do they make chastity belts for government corporations?
Why would I want to give this government more money? It won't go towards better health care or roads or education. It will be shared among 30,000 un-needed government employees as well as towards obscenely bloated contracts. More money would go to the people who actually need it if I drove down Carmichael Road and threw $1,000 out the window once a year.
Incompetence has cost all of us an additional $150million is living costs. That's just great. The PLP supporters seem to be more than happy with this for some strange reason. Perhaps they get extra income while their party is in power. The rest of the country however has to suck up this huge additional living expense. It's weird how PLP's don't complain about their electricity bill while the PLP are in power but they complain to no end when the FNM are in power and their electricity bills are lower. Insanity or stupidity?

Maybe we should start with cutting down on corruption and bloated contracts. I mean that alone should save us a few hundred million a year.
