Does Cable Bahamas think that it's somehow cheaper to put satellites in orbit than to maintain a network on the ground? If they want to compete they should consider switching to the Low Earth Orbit satellite business.

I think it is very clear from the comments that neither the clergymen or our politicians are God fearing and that religion is a joke in general.
And if we are made in God's image then He is just as corrupt and dishonest and disgusting as us humans.

My issue with this is will the hopeful developers build in the same spirit as the community? In my view Town planning doesn't do a good enough job of envisioning an area and restricting approvals to what makes sense and fits into a developing area.
So far that area is well planned. I would hate to see lots of Carmichael Road type developments in the area. In other words a bunch of 4-Plex apartment buildings are NOT desired.
Sadly the folks at Town Planning probably think that's a great idea.

I agree with the first part Birdie. The parents of all of those children need to be interviewed to ensure that the household is safe and supportive.
Although good kids with good parents also get depressed and suicidal for no obvious reasons, there are many kids that consider suicide as a direct result of something that is going on at home.
It is sad when kids are not happy as their lives should be about chasing rainbows and looking for hidden treasure. Once they turn 18 it is understandable that they become as depressed and sour as their working parents.

Well said. One really has to wonder if cabinet has any working brain cells between them. Cabinet is so caught up in getting theirs that they forget that their mandate is to their country - not their savings account.

We don't even know when the fire trucks arrived. The people watching said is took close to 2 hours but our Lawyer Jokey fella (Monroe?) said 8 minutes. But he did say that they didn't necessarily go to the site of the fire - they must have gone to Elisabeth Ave and waited there for the flames to arrive.
I probably would have gone to where the people actually lived first and then worry about the commercials buildings.

Not surprising when you have a so called Christian nation where the vast majority of mothers have children only to get some $$$ from some fella. You have father who don't even know for sure if they are the father and who couldn't give a crap if the gal they grin gets pregnant. And you got mostly unwanted and unplanned for children who see their mother gettin' piece on a regular from fellas who you're pretty sure ain't your daddy because they look nothing like you and you get the feeling that they want to juice you too.
