Thank the good Lord for Roscoe and the other unnamed volunteers. Without them Abaco would be as abandoned and disgusting as most of New Providence is. Being part of the Bahamas and and under the thumb central government is a real burden on Abaco.
You must be a priest or something. Unless you're Davis using the name Mandela?? Bringing forth an argument of young men VS all women. Can't both groups get the attention and support and equality that they deserve? Just because our young men are failing in society that means all women's rights and equality should continue to be ignored?
This Davis guy will be back pedaling on these ridiculous remarks very soon. This fool likes to travel and hang with sensible leaders - once they read these 6th grade remarks he's going to hear some snickering behind his back.
"So if a Bahamian woman plans for her children to be Bahamians, why not just plan to have them in The BaHAMAS?" Was that in jest or were you serious? I'm sure it was in jest because you know that life isn't that simple where Bahamian women living around the world, with careers can simply jump on a plane 6 months before giving birth to come here and hole up with family, friends or in a hotel just so that they can pass on what should be their right to their child.
Bowleg makes it sound like the auditors just swooped in, grabbed some documentation and accounting files and suddenly published their findings. It would be interesting to know when the audit started, what deadline's were discussed and when this unaudited statement was produced. I'm pretty sure the auditor general would have asked for all of the ministry's reports before finalizing their own.
Will the FNM vow to let the public know what the Sun Oil fine was when they get back into power? I imagine that we'll simply be told that the settlement included a confidentiality clause and that they are not allowed to tell us. This PLP government is just soooo corrupt. I don't trust them with their own kids' money let alone the public purse.

Maybe they can now commit to putting some more atm machines in the out islands. They really are slunking in supporting the wider community.
