How many woman put themselves forward to run compared to men? I imagine that a lot more men look to get into politics so it only makes sense that there are a higher percentage of men in government. I'm pretty sure our population doesn't look at gender when voting in their constituency.
Sounds like the group of men had an even higher up boss that is looking out for them. Wonder what the person of made them permanent is getting out of it? There must be some real dirt being covered up by making these guys permanent.

I would think you would get more productivity out of a nurse if they worked 8 hour shifts, as there would be significantly less handovers and therefore less errors and omissions.
