I hope they aren't giving 300 new plates in addition to the thousands they have out now, as it's pretty obvious that we have far too many taxi's on the road as it is. What they need to do is issue 300 plates to drivers who actually own and will drive their own vehicle and take away 300 plates from the cronies who lease their plates and cars to drivers.
And the Repbulican's defense... but in the past.... but when Obama... why didn't the Democrats do anything back in...! They sound like the PLP who can never defend their actions but simply state how nothing was done in the past about it. SAD! It's like saying all past presidents groped and molested woman and they never got in trouble for it so why should he get in trouble for it now.
Hopefully this is geared towards criminals who run people over or smash into people while evading police and those who intentionally run over people in an attempt to kill them AND NOT geared toward young people who drive recklessly and lose control and accidentally kill people.
Please tell us when you are turning on these new generators because I want to make sure everything in my home is unplugged, that the main breaker is off and that every fuse on the panel switch is in the off position. i don't trust you!!!!
People must plan to retire with a roof over their head - i.e. a house/apartment with no mortgage. Granted maintaining a property can be expensive but it should be as expensive as renting.
Of course owning your own home isn't easy but my parents who started off with nothing were able to do it along with all of their friends who also started with nothing. Being financially responsible is key to a comfortable retirement. This means only having kids you can afford and (it irks me to say) getting married - as the additional income will certainly help.
