What fool put this bill forward? Why on God's cursed earth would someone be fighting so hard to have murders and other violent offenders paroled? What is wrong with everyone??? It's hard enough getting criminals put in jail, from police competency and the lack of a properly functioning justice system, and people want to make it easier for criminals to be released after all the effort put in to get them incarcerated? No wonder God ignores our collective prayers. He's looking down at us and wondering why we are so stupid!!!! Forgive those who have sinned against us is not the same as letting people do whatever they want to you over and over again without punishment.
It appears that Botswana paid for Davis' trip in full? His siding with Africa over the US was the cost of admission. The entire PLP get a free trip out of it - nothing more - and the people of The Bahamas have to wait for a backhand slap from Big Brother. Davis is out of his depth in this again.
Here's a thought. How about reducing the overly bloated government workers? Or reducing the number contracts to friends and families with no expectation to do any actual work? How about accounting for every dollar spent, instead of hiding and squandering hundreds of millions of dollars every year? If government wasn't so corrupt then we wouldn't need to pay any property tax and could probably run a surplus on 5% VAT. Instead government wants more and more with less and less accountability. We are paying for officials to fly, stay and dine first class with nothing left for health care or infrastructure.
France treats all black nations like scum. Just look at what they did to Haiti. But they do like their black African foot-ballers. I guess blacks only have an entertainment value for them. I don't think France could even field a team if it weren't for the Africans.
A cashless society is very, very scary. When a corrupt government realizes how easy it will be to confiscate, freeze or limit access to your own money... we will be in a load of hurt.
I'm not sure if Clay understands what a PPP is. If the government is simply paying a local company to pave the roads then that is simply a Contract not a Partnership. Now if Bahamas Striping is contributing to the cost then that is one thing, but I didn't read that anywhere.
