You are asking a lot Ms. Brown. Our managers in civil service certainly don't get evaluated on important issue like improving work flows, coming in under budget, efficiency gains. They seem to get paid no matter what they do... or if they do anything at all. Everyone working at the post office should be made to renew their passports just like everyone else so that they can feel the pain and humiliation that we feel. They obviously don't have an inkling of an idea of how the process works from the outside.
Thanks to the thousands of moronic gang members I think all Bahamians have lost their right to privacy. I like the idea of drones hovering above Nassau 24/7 if they are used to monitor and catch our criminals. I would like to be able to call the police after being held up and immediately have 3 drones point their cameras in my direction and track every vehicle in the vicinity.
Not sure how attractive the share offering would be, as the value would be decreasing as the 25 year management agreement comes to fruition. The longer you hold the shares the less valuable they would become as no one will want them in say 20 years with only 5 years left in their contract. It's like buying options that intrinsically have an expiry date.
Writing and passing laws in The Bahamas doesn't necessarily mean we have laws in The Bahamas. There are plenty 'rules of the road' but yet there are no rules. Anyone can drive anything anytime with or without inspection or license. The chance of getting pulled over... 1%.
Under the PLP the developers plan to just expand would certainly have worked. But now we have a responsible government in place who will ensure that this project is done according to the approvals received.

Does anyone know who runs the passport office (not the Minister) and how long that person has been in that position?
