I agree completely. By time our visitors reach they are already in 'just want to get home' mode. The last day(s) of every trip are when you, in your mind, plan all the things you need to do when you get home. You try to get the last bit of relaxation in and you are 'done' with shopping and the hassle of tours and crowds.

Unfortunately for the people that is historically how it's been. Ping and the drug lords, Ingraham and ??? (I still don't know for sure who was calling the shots) and Perry with the numbers criminals.
Governments need to do what's best for the nation, not a group of people.

Something stinks about this and the stench will get stronger as this burning ship gets closer. $5 says the ship will capsize and lose all it's cargo after it enters Bahamian waters but before it reaches port.
I wonder if our environmental minister (if we have one) has even asked for itemized list of the ship's cargo. It could be carrying some seriously toxic crap on board.
