Now, how many tractor trailors or dump trucks or trucks pulling boats you see getting in accidents? I thinks special licenses need to be had for Bahamians renting/driving cubes and notes as every accident has one of them involved.
You are correct. Unfortunately, our ignorant, lazy and not so bright leaders are not willing or capable to revamp our education system. They know it's broke but they don't know how to fix it.
There is definitely more effort and money put into protecting criminals than there is for protecting the victims. We will find the smallest of errors to get a criminal freed but we also find the weakest excuse to not believe a victims story.
For some reason we just can't seem to manage school repairs in a sensible and timely manner. I can't even say that we are getting better at it. Is it pure incompetence or is the lack of education coming full circle where the poorly educated are now the ones doing the work and running the ministries and they just aren't competent enough to maintain and fix the schools?
You guys above hit all the nails smack on the head. What this Minister thought was a good message actually made the ministry look like the absolute dimwits that they are. If this is the biggest news from the ministry in 20 years then that just makes the past 20 years of corruption even more obvious.
I would be scared to go home to especially if your son is living with you. It's fairly obvious that your son is in hot water with some fella's. Maybe the the same fellas he hangs out with on the corner????? Let me guess, when your good son got home and found out about what happened, he grabbed his pistol and said that he would take 'them' out?
