The paralysis of endless analysis.. a government trait.. millions spent on consultants, studies, you name it.. hoping to get a recommendation they want ... anything but reality.. we're steady on course to become another high debt, failing 3rd world state.
another gov't debacle. sorry for the residents in that area and those attending QC. they'd better take an LOA from their jobs because school runs will take forever. i would have thought the failure of roundabouts as traffic control mechanisms on busy streets would have been obvious by now as they favour sides that have the least traffic approaching from the right and lane misuse and undisciplined driving makes them regular accident sites.. instead they build more..signals are the only way to assure all sides get equal access.
i wonder when we are gonna have proper taxi companies line all other countries.. u know same paint job for easy recognition especially by visitors, a nunber u can call to request a taxi, a uniform standard of quality. .. that kind stuff
Typical gov't planning or lack of it.. never allow enough time to do anything properly, create a crisis then look for a pat on the back for doing what should have been done. and whats with this country and politicians? if it rains, they call a news conference to say they are monitoring the weather, as if they can do anything about it. smh..
Really its a farce.. we see junkanoo rushing at independence and all these cookouts and homecomings with crowds in close proximity and no mask.. its just fear of an outbreak and it gets blamed on no mask, so take safe route and do nothing. we will not achieve 70% until.another deadly strain materializes.
unfortunate situation, but people need to wake up to the reality that the government is broke. if ever a time to privatize, its now. the days of big government are gone. every enterprise has to stand on its own or collapse.. users have to pay the fees for service and the employer only agree to what those fees can support.
