I hope UB did another study same time on how the broke government, that employs most workers in the land, majority of who would benefit from such an absurd idea, will pay for this.. i would think at minimum a corresponding 127% tax hike? Dont talk about efficiency or productivity gains, such things dont exist here.
We have to make the vax compulsory. Too much at stake to leave it to personal choice.. personal choice okay if you dont want to drink, but we cant let the interest of the few, subordinate the interest of the majority when you're talking about the economical survival of a country.
It has always been acceptrd that you dont negotiate with terrorists. You only invite more terror. So give them your best and final offer and let what happens next happen. If the country collapses, fine. That would be what we deserve. Socialism is the problem, big government, ripe for the picking.
Its sickening how organized labour can basically blackmail the employer with fake sick calls, and employer does nothing. How can it be that only unions seem to have tactics they cam use but employer has none?
Based on what is reported here, looks like a little knowledge is a dangerous thing..clearly these pilots thought they knew more than they really did. Secondly, based on this report if accurate (that aircraft was reported stolen) i wonder why they did that? Lots of questions.
this is a result of diplomatic efforts by Foreign Affairs Minister Darren Henfield and Bahamian ambassador to the United States Sidney Collie... is that so? Or was it because the Bahamas just happened to be one of the many countries the US intended to offer it to and all we had to say was yes please or no thanks?
I agree with Sir Franklyn regarding the almost total dismissal of what this country will face in years to come.. Minnis said he chose lives over money (paraphrase).. big talk and noble values but kind of unrealistic.. maybe one or two are here who might not have been, we don't know, but the economic price will be for all to see.. we lose folks to smoking and drinking; apparently thats okay.
The pandemic presented a gokden opportuntiy to wind this disaster up.. more lost opportunities.. i mean really, after 50 years of losses, why is this year going to be any different?
We shouldnt be comforted by assurances that future budget deficits will come down.. so long as there is a deficit, it means the debt is still rising.. so a financial crisis is not a if, but more a when. What is equally concerning is a large portion of this debt will create nothing.. its handouts and debt servicing.
I agree with Davis on this.. Employers must have the right to determine the conditions for anyone who works at their establishment. this denies nobody their rights.. the employees choice is exercised when they decide if business 'X' is where they want to work. You have no right to be employed anywhere, you just decide if the place fits your values or if their rules gel with what you are prepared to accept.
