Nice spin on it but this is what I read... "everybody thinks he won the election because of himself and the truth is they didn’t win because of themselves. They won because of the party and because the government got voted out, not because the individual was such a good candidate that people say, ‘I love him I’ll vote for him.’”. It's not a big deal, just my opinion which along with $5 gets a coffee at Starbucks...
i hope Gibson from LI reads this.. i think he believes he won his seat on his own.. If you are FNM you win LI.. simple Mr. Gibson. so sit small, watch and learn and all the others thinking the same way...
like i said before.. there will be creative excuses and it will all go away. Laroda says in some cases its been 5 years since some filed, so it might take time.. so whose fault is it they weren't doing what they were required too by LAW?
i cant believe that in 2017 with the global threat of terrorism, widespread sticky fingers, threats from former dusgruntled staff or radical union members, etc., etc., that this multi-million dollar business, that according to the noise in the market should not have been privatized, does not at least have its facilities under video surveillance.. unbelievable..
'.. high cost and uncertain reliability of electricity; high unemployment combined with a limited pool of skilled labour; high labour costs and low rates of productivity; cumbersome and sometimes opaque administrative requirements; and an escalating crime rate'.. sounds pretty much like the Bahamas i know too. now that we know the challenges, lets do something about them...
i couldn't agree with Christie's politics but as a human and political patriot, i salute him and wish him well in his remaining years.. its important to distinguish man from politics.. sh#**y politician in my view, but noble bahamian..
sensible talk from the PLP side for a change.. he needs to tread carefully though.. i dont think the 'old guard' will appreciate a 'political babe' giving them advice.. but then again, he's in and most of them are not....
