Ah do better. When did Sands become the spokesman for all things healthcare and all things nhi? I mean can have an opinion but being a doctor does not equate to understanding healthcare economics.

He seems to be a decent guy and done well in business. But, politics is a different animal and its easy to say what you would do if you were the representative. I agree, Gray is a shabby candidate who is far too long winded and full of hot air. Anyway, I can't wait for this election plenty weeping will be going on.

Stapedius says...

Wasetful and stupid as usual.

We have so many issues with leadership in our country absinthe unions are just another example of this. There is no innovation in their thinking and they continue to use the blunt tool of striking rather than trying to grow and educate their members about the realities of our economy. Members are struggling to make ends meet and put their kids through school while the leadership is handsomely paid with union fees. Of course unions have a role in the development of this country. But I think how they use their resources and strength is so poor and squandered on mainstream political nonsense.

We need to insist in organisational changes in the major parties. These stalwarts and meritorious counselors is a bunch of bullshit. I've said it before. Sears may not be the most eloquent or flamboyant than this moron leading our country at present. But he at least seems to have the balls to take a chance. All of those other dudes should be ashamed for allowing Perry to run the party into the ground. A word to the wise is sufficient. Know when to fold em.

Stapedius says...

I agree Sears is dry as toast. But we have to get rid of the current leadership. Plus, who says every leader has to be a bombastic, long winded speaker anyway. I don't give a rats how slow he speaks, as long as he's getting the job done. We have to get beyond the personality cults and elect people who can move us forward. I don't know Sears well enough to make a fair assessment but you must agree Perry needs to be relieved of duty. If Sears can hastily facilitate this then more power to him.

You may respect him but it still doesn't resolve the issue of his poor representation. Be as outspoken as you wish but his role first and foremost is his constituency. Ask Bran what happened.

Stapedius says...

You are spot on ThisisOurs. We do things too ad hoc. We need criteria for national awards. In my view the governing organization for athletics and boa need to find ways to honor our athletes. National honors need to be of a higher standard of achievement. It shouldn't be that anyone can simply get the highest honors in the country. Atkins has made a significant contribution no doubt but I believe that we have to beef up the criteria otherwise we have nothing to aspire to.

Stapedius says...

An opportunist and political parasite. Before joining the PLP or FNM this was a man who bad mouthed them left and right while leader of the NDP. He got a small role as Gaming board chairman in the plp administration and when things didn't go how he expected he jumped ship. Then not even two months in the FNM he opened his big mouth and criticised a party that opened their arms to him. All the while being a media muppet his constituency has numerous concerns yet to be addressed. He really should run away from there because being an independent there he will get a cut a$%. Rollins wants to blame everyone else but hasn't been a very good representative for the people in his community. It's easy to sit back and criticise others but what has he really achieved but to promote himself as a loudmouth, an empty vessel? Election can't come soon enough for us to send many of these people into a political abyss. PLP, FNM and inbetween, we need a purge of this racket.

Stapedius says...

@ Alex_Charles that's some funny stuff. I totally get you though Minnis is an asshat of the first order. He made a mess of things and Loretta made the party look even worse. We are truly in a leadership crisis in our country. Perry wont carry his raggedy earse and the opposition can't get it together.
