This is a very very sad story. Apparently - not only Rollins - but many people are preparing to support the FNM the this time - in order to "get rid" of the PLP.

That's like saying I'm prepared to fill up my house with roaches, so I can get rid of the rats. Ya house ga still be messed up.

Do Bahamians simply believe that it is impossible to have a clean house? No rodents of any kind? A good government? A new and good government? Does the Law say you are only allowed to vote FNM or PLP?

Xtreme2x...IF Minnis said he would put in place term limits for both PM anf all mps and he would make foi act and recall process for mps and a few other importsnt things and said he is giving us his word as a man that these things would be done in six months or else he would either resign or else be known as not-a-man aka big sissy THEN i would vote for him. But to ASSume that we wont find ourselves in the same boat we are in now where after 4 1/2 years the Govt is only now just making plans for how to govern and askng for another five to implement those as yet incomplete plans...is just crazy.
I see no evidence that Minnis will do anything positive. He demanded no info on vat while leader of opp. He has now demanded nothing to do with mp financial disclosure...nor has he reached out to the Queen to assist us with violation of the Constitution regarding boundaries report.

I used to put $10 aside each week - under my mattress - so that each year when it is time to license and insure my car i would have enough money to do it.
However, now that i have learned how Govt does it, i will just keep my money in the bank in ONE account .... and simply HOPE that i have enough when my plate expires.
Surely Govt is smarter than me, so i will follow their lead.
Wish me luck. LOL.

He has done all. Great!! Does that mean he will resign now? Fingers crossed.

Call on the church ???? Is she crazy ? Those are the bastards that created this mess and continue to maintain it. Churches love a system that breeds ignorant slaves.

The reason for that "history" is that every time Abaco creates a business / money-making opportunity and runs with it and makes lots of money - the Govt instantly jumps to "regulate" it - and move it to Nassau and down south. You just can't do whatever you feel like doing. You need to learn how to make money, how to do it, how to work it - then do it yourself. But instead Govt wants to take it away from the white people of Abaco and just think it will work elsewhere. This same thinking they have applied against the "foreign" "white" people of Freeport and their "foreign" England owners of the Port Authority. Well, you can see what wonderful shape Freeport has been in since then. With the loss of white money from Freeport and Abaco flowing into the Treasury - ends cannot be met in Govt. Hospital out of blood pressure pills, asthma meds for infants, lots of stuff - all kinds of loss all over the place. So they say we need VAT to make up the shortfall. You wouldn't need VAT money if you still had money coming from Abaco and Freeport. But you CHOOSE not to have it - because there are a lot of white people there who also benefit. You would rather have none, than to know a white person is getting something. Fine. Choose none. See how good none tastes when it is what is on your dinner plate.
