I'm sure that some do - and they are also looked down upon by the ruling class. It does not matter what color skin you have - if you are considered unimportant and less than others - it is the same problem.
I use the term to make it clear the difference between the Govt and the People is the same as slave and master.
Maybe that term will offend someone. If YOU or someone else don't mind being a slave as long as nobody uses that term around you - then that is your choice. For me, however, if they call me a movie star but treat me like a slave - I am smart enough to realize my true situation.
If the Govt really does have everyone believing that they love them, and that we are all special, important people, who are being given the very best - then perhaps they deserve to rule like that and the people deserve to be ruled like that. OR maybe are even so dumb that they couldn't survive without being so ruled.
Why do I even bother? We know that the majority of the X's marked in 2017 will be FNM and PLP. The people (in majority) just don't know any better.

He seems to be saying that it is up to the MPs to give Bahamians the benefit of the nice U.S. law of Ch. 11 protection in general - for all Bahamian companies to have use of - or for the MPs to continue to keep us as slaves.
Of course we know the MPs prefer to rule over slaves (yard niggers in particular who only have a mind to mark an X on a slip of paper once every 5 years, and starve in the interim) - so the new law will not come into existence.
It is so coincidental really that such a ruling would be made near our so-called Emancipation Day.
Most people don't understand how the Banks make use of our lack of Ch. 11 and lack of personal bankruptcy protection. They lend money to people they know can't pay - and then keep them as indentured servants for the rest of their lives - as interest builds faster than payments can be made from a $180/week salary.
Yep - more Bahamians out of work - hardly worth talking about. They don't mark their "x" until 2017 - so who cares about them?
When 2017 comes the PLP and the FNM will tell the people some kind of bullshit promises and they will vote one of them in again. It's an old story - but one people just love to hear again and again.
