I always thought passports were handed out on board the RBDF boats while the sloops were being towed to Nassau. Those big defense force ships have plenty of room on board to house a small passport processing office.
The deputy leader of FNM was wrong to use such words. He would have been much wiser to simply point out the FACT that the details remain missing this year about the salaries and number of positions of government worker categories and job titles, and in addition to that tons of other information has been left out (or simply subtotalled without the detailed figures) regard debt and debt payments and VAT.
Those would have been facts. There is no need to use insulting language and personal attacks. Use facts. Either the Paradise Island bridge has been fortified or it has not, either landing fees are going up or they are not, very simple. Financial stuff is a LOT easier to quantify and discuss with facts than, say, social services stuff where you have human factors and emotional factors involved. Wise up guys. Like they used to say - act your age not your IQ.

Haiti should be informed upon rbdf departure from Nassau and an approximate arrival time at a particular set of coordinates.
Then WAIT there until they come. Only thing given to the Haitians while waiting is WATER. Put a news feed on zns television every day informing the world that they are there and we are waiting on them to be "collected".

My point is that the Bible (and their interpretation of it) is way off base when it comes to understanding a being that created the whole universe. Yes, I've done unholy things and continue to do so (by their standards).

I often wonder if they truly believe the crap they say they do - why don't they get a 55-gallon drum and put gas in it and tie their kids in it and set it on fire - ie. a little home-made lake of fire - and burn their kids to death whenever they break the rules?

The REAL problem in this country (and I know many of you will laugh at this, but I'm serious) - is that we have TOO FEW members of parliament.
Because their number is low (less than 40) they are able to keep all sorts of things hush hush and do all sorts of tinkering that nobody knows about. Just look at all the stuff that was left out of this years budget - as ONE example.
Our Parliament should consist of 200 members. If that were the case, you would be able to meet with your MP, and he would have time for you. Also just a few MPs would not be able to SWING things however they want to.
The cost of their salaries is peanuts compared to what is currently accounted for as waste - not to mention all the tens of millions (hundreds) that never ever even come into the country because so many foreign investors look a what's happening and just laugh and go elsewhere.
He had a good idea - and that was rounding up illegals and shipping them out - but I guess our foreign masters instructed Cabinet to stop or else they would devalue our currency or reduce our visa time to 48 hours or some other threat.
Duppy - the most needy as you say - need to be put back on the damn boats they floated in on - and sent back.
Why don't you just go ahead and donate 50% of your salary every week to help them. Go to the wholesaler - fill your car - and go to the shanty towns and hand it out for free. Enjoy yourself.
