Really Joe? 150 million versus 6 billion? Why the focus and attention. This is just silly. Add it to the 6 billion total and wipe out those people's debts man. Sometimes i think Bahamians are our own worst enemies.

TheMadHatter says...

So they place US in debt to the IDB to the tune of $6billion and now they want to talk fool about just a few million? They need to stop smokin the Bin Laden weed and get the Lucayan Hotel open.
I often wonder, do you have to fail kindergarten to be an MP?

TheMadHatter says...

He's right about the Parliamentary Channel, though. Those death announcements and birthday announcement have got to go !!!! Damn, just put the thing on loop - at least when we turn it on we can see Parliament in session. Some people have jobs, you know, and can't stay home at 10am to watch yall live.

TheMadHatter says...

So, basically, some cronies are going to get some sweet contracts to paint the Titanic before it is torn down and a new one built. Don't worry, Bahamians will gladly pay the bill. They love abuse. Wait until July 10th, you will see them dancing with joy in the streets.

TheMadHatter says...

As the wise saying goes, "You can't teach an old Bahamian new tricks".

On Thanks, but we must decline offer

Lay all the cards out? That would be awesome. In fact, i believe it would even be historical. The first time in the history of the Bahamas that all the cards have been laid out on or in relation to any issue.

TheMadHatter says...

You call yourself an economist? The real problem with WTO is there is no such thing as WTO. It's like Nancy Pelosi famously said, "We've got to pass the bill to find out what's in it."

You say we have to pay someone to tell us exactly how the government plans to rape us. Since we're gonna be raped anyhow, we might as well get it for free. Ignorance is bliss.

On No WTO scare tactics, just facts

"The greatest challenge to Bahamasair meeting its financial targets is the rising cost of fuel,” the minister said...

Fuel cost is the problem? Really? Is this the first time the Minister has ever heard of this airline? I thought he been in the Bahamas for years. Uhm.

TheMadHatter says...

Who knows? Maybe he will use his new power to help ordinary Bahamians. He might. He might. He might. He might. I'm gonna keep repeating that over and over in my head until i go insane and then keep repeating it while at Sandilands.
That's my plan.

On CA Smith - our new governor general

Im sorry folks but this is just so stupid that The Hatter is speechless.
It seems for some people that the only thing wrong with the Bahamas is that it's occupied by Bahamians.
Too bad geniuses like some of these brilliant lawyers can't figure out the source of the havoc in Haiti and work on fixing the ROOT of the problem - instead of preaching to us how we need bigger vacuum cleaners to suck up other people's messes with.
Insanity doesnt quite cover it.
