I hope it doesnt because it will only allow the government to get more unaccounted for VAT money.

What a joke. Anyone in Nassau afraid of a new Freeport cruise port must be crazy. The schedule is set for Neverary 32nd. Calm yaseff.

This is a good turnout, but i remember about ten years ago there was a Bahamian fishing boat that capsized and the turnout was over twice as large.

Wow. You really are happy with the status quo. Amazing. The best slave is one who believes he is free.

"While I personally believe that our country will benefit from joining WTO, I speak to many Bahamians, often successful business owners. who are deeply skeptical..."

WHY? You are just another robotic zombie spewing off the tired old story we hear over and over again that it will be beneficial for the Bahamas to join the WTO without offering ONE single example of a benefit. Not one. The article claims that Mr. Laing held a conference where he outlined the benefits to us of joining - but again fails to mention ONE thing that he listed as a benefit.

Why is this a big secret? I know the benefit of putting fresh oil in my car twice a year. It prevents corrosion of the metal inside the engine - the piston rings and the piston chamber valves and the bearings of the crank shaft, all of which are very expensive to repair or replace if they are allowed to corrode and wear down. The clean new oil prevents this from happening. Oil itself wears down over time (due to complex chemical reactions of the hydrocarbons) - therefore it has a "shelf life" so to speak when inside your car's engine. To increase engine life by preventing the above listed wear and tear, it should be changed regularly, and at least twice a year.

The benefit to the Bahamas of joining the WTO is …………?????

Settle management staff in the next couple weeks?

No. Pay them on Monday whatever the law requires plus a 15% gratuity and tell them any more they want they can take you to court. Let the new buyer have in writing that you will take responsibility for any monies awarded by the Courts. Get it done!!! It's simply insane this is taking months. Let the months go by in Court. Sell the hotel now. See yall MPs except for Chipman don't know how the poor people live. He's the ONLY one that cares about the people's money, cares about the Public Accounts Committee.

No, it is the many here with your attitude that cause the Bahamas to sink further into the abyss. Why someone of the high calibre of Mr. Myers remains in this country is beyond me.

He is like a bright shiny unicorn wallowing in a pig stye. Instead he could take his wings and fly high over the rainbow. Someday he will after he realizes that the majority in this country don't even want solutions handed to them on a silver platter.

Beer, chicken, and music once every 5 years is all they want. It's all they need. Fun to breed and smoke some weed.

Why bother investigating? Will the report be tabled in the House or sit on the shelf like BPL?

Dr. Allen should be commended for his hard work in this community whether or not every study he has done is correct or not. He never claimed to be Jesus. Instead he is more like John the Baptist, "a voice crying out in the wilderness". He is out there working in the community trying to improve our sorrowful disgusting state instead of just walking around saying "Thank God for life" like the majority of mindless zombie idiots do all day long.

So with all your high intelligence, do you grasp how important the distinction is whether or not the land lies within or without the Port Area?
