open-mindedness doesn't mean accepting any new crazy wild idea without thought. Just because something is new, does not mean it should be accepted. However, in this case, I have to wonder where is the actual crime (and I don't mean lawbook crime).

It is always astounding to me that the PLP who is the Party that took us away from the Monarchy, themselves behave as a monarchy - wherein their leadership operates on a king / prince / duke methodology, knowing who is "next in line" to rule - rather than choosing their leaders with common sense. They block potential leaders from even speaking with their own members - as was done with Mr. Sears at the last PLP Convention just prior to that convention. Amazingly, their supporters seem to agree with this policy of duck tape on the mouth.

Of course it's not on their agenda - it's on the WTO's agenda. This is a case of when you swear an oath to tell the "whole truth" and you omit relevant facts. Mr. Turnquest should be quite aware that as he forces us to join WTO and as WTO forces us to remove customs duties, we will have to replace that revenue with higher VAT and/or income tax and/or some other tax. So even if he doesn't raise VAT - other taxes will be raised, and it doesn't matter what they are called. They them "Pretty Little Furry Taxes" - I still don't want to pay them.

Also, he should not speak about any new VAT money whether it will come or not, because he hasn't found the old VAT money yet.

This is why they MUST be brought here from Haiti - the entire journey - on our Defense Force boats. They could be brought to Abaco and then released at the freight dock, just as if they would have snuck in at night. This would be the safest most humane way to handle this. One trip per week, for each of 3 defense force vessels.

Nothing will stop them from coming here for free social services, free schooling under U,N. law, free land, and free phone cards - so it is best to avoid international condemnation for inhumane treatment by transporting them safely ourselves. Same result - just safer. Avoid the eye of the Pope.

Exactly. I could rebuff her entire article with one word.

Yes it was. In fact your idea was even better because it was to be outside the Port area.

Unfortunately, people are not able to sustain themselves off of ideas. Jesus said man cannot live by bread alone, but he did not say we could live without bread.

People who needed food to live, voted yall out of office. Next time consider a little urgency in your deliberations. Don't worry too much though. These set been in nearly 2 years and they still in the idea stage too. You would think if you had the guts to run for PM, you would have ideas already in your head long before election day. But maybe i'm just stupid and the correct way is to get elected then spend 18 months coming up with ideas.

Inside the Port Area? That sucks. Why are they spending their time doing research and marketing that the Port should be doing? Also, being within the Port area means it will be controlled by China which owns everything in Freeport. Has China threatened us with nuclear war unless we comply with their demands? This is insanity.

Graduate, your idea is interesting - however probably too open-minded and modern for these backward rocks and cays.
