lolol I still love Fred. He is just like Mr. Ingraham. They don't sugar coat anything. If that's how they feel, it is coming out of their heads and out of their mouths just like that. I love Mitchell and Ingraham just like that. It's real. It's raw. It's genuine and there is no guessing about how they feel about any subject. Black is black and white is white. I saw the editorial too and rolled my eyes...saying "who is this trying to stir up trouble, again." lolol That was probably written by someone trying to get a job at B.I.S. or something. I hate the fact that journalists in this country feel the need to show their political allegiance despite the profession calling for unbiased reporting. But, no. Not here. I saw this kind of response from Fred Mitchell a mile away. Rightly so... someone had to say something.

Perry Christie is responsible for the government, but we, the parents are responsible for our own children and how they are raised. We have had a generation in this country - maybe two - of deadbeat Dads..men, you have to drag before the courts to take care of their children. Some of them would rather go to jail than to invest in the lives of the kids they helped to bring into the world. While that's happening, the Mommy is too busy working to take care of the children to notice what things they are getting into - until it is too late and their kids have been severely brainwashed by the streets and American television. Governments blame each other for crime in a nation because they want to brainwash us all that one is better than the other. But the reality is, we as parents have to be parents to our children and invest in their lives... Some kids have psychological issues from the time they are very young but we ignore them and do not get them psychological help at an early age because of the stigma attached or because we just can't afford it. Our boys end up in programmes for At Risk Youth and some turn their lives around and others are just numb to a conscience. The "unconscionable" are the ones running around town now killing up everyone because they just don't care and have respect for human life. But these guys and gals didn't just drop out of the sky... they are somebody's kidsss...they have parents somewhere... Where are the people who love them? Love and support shouldn't start when you have to go to the court to post their bail.... you're lateeee. Maybe God sent those floods to save some lives those days and give the earth a break... the blood of the murdered is crying out from the ground... We need a national Month of Fasting and Prayer... the whole entire nation. We need a starting point..a chance to start over and get it right.

How in the world could someone get robbed at the entrance of the Royal towers...where in the world did that taxi drop them off?? Something just does not make any sense to me. Why did the taxi driver not drop them off right at the door of the towers... if I am not mistaken, security is there twenty-four seven... Something does not make any sense to me. Bahamians can barely get into Atlantis to walk around because of the security... It don't make sense to me, unless we are not getting the real story. The police need to find the taxi driver too and see exactly where he dropped these folks off, and then if they were dropped off right in front of the Royal Towers, where were security guards who are usually posted at the entrance of the towers... Beefing up security won't matter if the security officers that are there already aren't doing what they're suppose to be doing... I don't get this one...

Okay...I am tired of reading the newspapers now. Why aren't we promoting the good things and making them the top stories? I am so tired of hearing about who got stabbed up, shot, robbed, shoot up, beat up...dead, dying, killed, murdered... It is all too depressing. Can you imagine the tourists who are here for a week and are reading the papers each day? I would order in room service every day and don't anywhere except to the airport... What in the world is going on in Nassau? Could you at least, once a week, make your feature story, your headline story? Reading the news is giving me a headache.
