And let me guess, you believe the police went to work that day with the intent of killing a somebody? "Let's just kill somebody today... and I don't wan' shoot no-one, I ga just choke him to death...Eenie Meenie Minie Mo..."
Nobody is talking about how this fella (Jamie) was attacking the police though and trying to escape police custody... We have to weigh both sides of this story objectively. There is so much compassion for the criminals...suspects in police custody. Please Read the Tribune's headline story today about the Tourist who got killed by some armed robbers who were trying to mug a woman on Saturday. The police have a right to defend themselves too and to protect USSS..the community - from these bastards. Maybe that cop should have let that guy walk right out the door for him to come out and rob somebody-else.. maybe shoot them this time. The fella told the police, " I ain gern back to jail", not "I did not do this. I'm not guilty." People, please....The police realizes that a situation like that is dangerous. We don't have to go through it every day and so we are desensitized to their plight....but it's them against the criminals each and every day and criminals have proven that they have no conscience. Someone's life is always on the line. That's the real picture. If you don't want to be in a situation where the police has to fight with you, stay out of trouble and keep your nose clean.
This is just awful and my prayers go out to this gentleman's family. He is indeed a real hero who gave up his life to save someone-else's life. Words cannot express just how much I respect and honour Mr. Bruner, today. I'm a Bahamian woman....it could have been me he was saving. May His soul rest in peace.
So if John Fowler is a hotel accountant, then the Tribune needs to do further investigation regarding that. Makes no sense.... How did he get that position and how could a hotel accountant be speaking on behalf of the national flag carrier about the logistics of aviation? Did the Tribune get the wrong number or is this just false information? Nobody cares if he is the brother-in-law of the PM. What matters is, is he qualified to hold such a vital position in Bahamasair?
One thing I know, those Bahamasair pilots will get you where you need to go - in one piece. People stop blaming "low pressure" in the atmosphere on the government too. lololol I mean come onnn....lolol
Daniiiiiiiiii......OMG, I am just seeing this and in my office crying this morningggggggggggggggg..... I cannot believe thissssss. Dani was such a beautiful girllllllllllllllllllllll. I am devastated this morning and my thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Bethel and family, as well as the Farrington family. This is shocking and devastating... I can't believe this
Well people, it's up to us to hold the people we put in office accountable. Every last one - yellow and red. The PLP has four more years to correct their failures of the first year and I am sure they heard you all loud and clear. I don't count on the government to give me a hand out and make my life better because I trust in the one true living God to provide for me and make my life complete. The arm of flesh will always fail you but God never fails. The FNM and the PLP have had issues, and I just believe whatever party in power needs to make their policies and decisions based not only logic, reasoning, information and education but they need to be guided by the spirit. The Ingraham government wasn't guided by the spirit and that's why they are out and the Christie government is just the same...but they have four more years to seek God for guidance. It's not too late to really put the affairs and concerns of the people as a priority.
I've always like Fred Mitchell. Very smart, very intelligent, very genuine. Just let him do his job. If he doesn't do this, then people will say the government lied when they said they would put Bahamians first. I'm with Fred. I need someone looking out for me and my rights in my own country. As a Bahamian, I need to feel like my needs are a priority of my government and we all know, unemployment in the Bahamas is at an all time high. Let Fred give us a good fight. If he fails, you can't say he didn't try. He is like a tree planted by the water...he shall not be moved. He is sticking to his guns on this and I don't blame him. He's been on the campaign trail. He knows exactly how things look and how much Bahamians are not working and stopped looking for work because they are discouraged. So I say press on Fred and don't back down. People who oppose you are looking at this through a political magnifying glass instead of just using 20/20 vision and getting the real picture. Bahamians need to work and if they end up bring rude and disgusting and lazy, then fire them. Plain and simple. But they need to get on the job first...Go Fred!!! Just how those people in the other countries are worried about their citizens, you absolutely should be worried about the welfare of yours too.
