The rule of law has been replaced by the whim of Men. They abhor any argument based on the authority of law, as they've had the cover of personal power for decades.
Wait til a KYC form has to be submitted along with tithes! Could take months for non profits to accept donations while waiting on FATF approval! That Dollar to the corner Joneser has to be tracked!
Wonder why they need any expatriates, other cruise islands have none. Still, with all the concessions they've no doubt got the only Bahamian economic benefit is local salaries.
Never did use their service, Bootleggers then, Probably still are. Wonder what ever happened to the royalties "escrowed" against the day they would have to pay arrears for the use of HBO etc? No Habla anyway.
A very sad loss, but for me it highlights the fact that we have Bahamians capable of that sort of creativity and drive, vision and determination. Simplicity of purpose with such great potential outcome. But we usually hammer them back into the ground from whence they came. Rest in peace.
