If half of what they ALL done over the last 50 years comes out it will take 100 years to sort through it all and start prosecuting them all, and seizing the ill gotten assets!
Funny how they protect their wealth at the expense of the majority, while history shows many lose their heads (and wealth) when the tipping point is reached. The guardians of great wealth are not too smart. Look at how in 40 years we have gone from timid silence to open ridicule of the "Families" in control.
Much crossing of party lines these days, which is a good thing. This party lock step on both sides has us in this mess we have been cultivating for decades. If sensible ideas are not developed and acted upon, we arrive exactly where we now are.
It will get worse before it gets better, remember most who "serve" in Government and The Courts got where they are by political hand picking, indicating compromise and favor. Competency went out the window with the British! Sure, a few were left but think back, didn't take long to flush them out did it?
I believe the Political pressure on the court must be substantial. I have seen what I believe to be political pressure derail a few court cases, and get others put on indefinite hold. To railroad something as large and important as this for some ulterior Cabinet driven end and purpose is a complete and crowning national disgrace on a scale seldom approached before. Perhaps this fiasco was inevitable given the Governments ever increasing encroachment into Private entities affairs via Concessions, secret agreements and Crown land? What else have they bartered away for their own personal benefit?
Banker you have a sharp sense of Humor! No, we assign all sorts of motive to the Ruling Clique, but if and when they succeed at what evr their objectives they will show their hand, perhaps it is as simple as a new group of "Sunshine people" divvying up the assets of Sarkis. Initially i believe they panicked. Nothing more, but the inevitable scheming ensued. Seems to be nothing more than the well used way of gaining wealth, Steal it.
He had me right up to his Claim that the FNM is Anti-corruption. Not true. PLP vs. FMN is simply a study in the lesser of two evils. I shall judge him upon his own conduct, and the conduct of those he surrounds himself with. Tit for Tat works in pre-school and grade school, not in the governance of a nation. A lesson they must have missed or forgotten.
We elect them knowing full well the party is short and the hangover painful every damn time. Will we ever learn? They fail to pay those they should and pay those they shouldn't. They pillage the treasury and create their own wealth at our expense.
