OK, we need a citizen appointed Royal commission of inquiry on delinquent tax payers from the political elite, the connected and the wealthy, then everyone else!
Check the bill paying status of anyone on that commission first!

This is but a small part of the transparency we lack,
historically since 1968 these filings also show questionable enrichment in office for many.
None have ever ben prosecuted, which ads to the problem and the air of immunity they so blatantly enjoy at our expense.
Questioning these requirements also show just how ill suited to public office some are.

But not abide what the law demands and clearly states.
Herein lies the real issue, allegiance to personality,
not the rule of law.

They so covet the power of office, but undermine the very structure that provides for their existence.
Yes, we will vote for them again and again, because most of us follow their horrible example.
No matter the tribal colors you wear,
we all bear responsibility for our own demise.
Throw the rules out and see how well things turn out, as we are already more than halfway there.

Of course they stay away, what is there here for them to return to?
Bahamians educated abroad have been exposed to the possible, the rewards of investing themselves in ventures designed to succeed!
Where does that occur here?
We have a stagnant mentality, a stagnant economy, stagnant politicians,
stagnant wealth.
We have developed nothing, eroded everything,
our youth especially.

A bunch of has beens that technically never were, aside by default!
Closed mindedness is partly responsible for the decay, the lack of encouragement, potential,
the unrest in the youth.
Bahamians do not speak of the possible,
They perpetuate the impossible.

Funny how they encourage and expect the ignorance and work it in their favor at election time,
then decry it otherwise!

Counting Chickens before they're hatched,
Typical Governmental ineptitude.

Cutting back on the mindless waste and pillaging of the treasury by Government would put the country in better stead for emergency funding needs!
