The government has created a massive dependency on them, in spite of their Total inadequacies to even perform the few mandates outlined in the constitution. Worse than a meth dealer, giving away the first few samples free. They create dependency, followed by obstacles, delays, forcing everyone to play the Tribal affiliation game. To wit, the government can only foster business development by doing what the Constitution and Civil service provided for: Facilitate via ease of process. Beyond that is a waste of money in this case, and full of motive not provided for in the constitution. Besides, where will the Government steal $100 million from, if not from those it is attempting to "give it to?"
I do however see the validity of a lockdown over the two public holidays, as to release the public after two months of "rules' that some didn't observe anyway is probably wise. It would be a free for all. Prob will be anyway.

It is very telling, in any society, how the old and young are treated, the way they treat themselves. This is also a prime example. To deny your own people their inherited identity.
