"*they were blindsided by the fact that somehow the club had gained preliminary approval of a site plan in February*"

"*from noise to peace of mind, from strain on already strained resources was wrong with the proposed project, they said, a project that would surely shatter the peace and security ...*"

"*They said it would invite massive traffic.*"

"*They cited a strain on infrastructure that is already at a breaking point*"

**All politics is indeed local**. This is the very argument used against Royal Caribbean as they appropriated Toby Smith's beach club venture. "*This will change the landscape forever*". Who got behind in me and promoted that massive development?

If I remember correctly Sam had in all his clothes too while this alledged billion dollar unauthorized movement of client funds was underway.

Clothes or lack thereof are not a required ingredient for unethical behaviour. On the other hand, acceptance of gifts of high value, like a Rolex watch for example, very often is. This is why companies frequently put in black and white strict policies around acceptance of gifts limiting the value of such gifts to amounts under say 100 dollars. Acceptance of a gift valued at 5000-10000 dollars would never be ethically approved.

Did I say you **cant** be in the room? The danger is being in there **alone**, you're then subject to your rose eyed glasses judgement. The second danger is exactly what I said *purchasing favour*, its the seed of unethical judgement. Who guh rat on the drug dealer who buy all the kids Xboxes and bicycles for christmas?

The first rule was broken, the PM should never be in a position where he is in the room alone with an investor, financier, good samaritan whether in person or virtual.

These men and women need year round training on ethical standards with real life example of why something like accepting a watch from someone who's submitting a residency application to you is unethical. Basically what they're doing is "buying" you *favour*, in any decisions to follow your judgement will be clouded by the favour already bought. I mean it was a really nice Rolex that you're proud to show to your buddies on the golf course

Christina Rolle also fell into this trap shovelling dirt at the ground breaking for the organization she would hav ed to oversee. "*Favour bought.*"

One thing that's clear in all of this is that theres a pot of gold inside the house of parliament and everybody is desperately scrambling to get inside to get their hands on it. They're certainly not "*fighting like dogs*" to help any of us

They tore down the one they had permission to tear down. The problem isnt so much the quality of the illehal structure but whether there is objective evidence the occupants were given sufficient warning of pending demolition. The key word being "objective".

ThisIsOurs says...

"*if there is peace, it can be good for everyone.*"

Unfortunately there will never be peace. Its an unsolveable problem. Neither side for their own reasons wants to give up the land thats the source of the contention.

In the bible there's a phrase thats repeated over and over and over again, "*they have hurt the heart of my daughter saying peace peace when there is no peace*". Perhaps on the surface detailing the situation today, people thinking themselves past the conflict only to be jolted one day by the sound of gun fire, rockets and wailing as more children die in the name of peace

"*We do not, and we will not under any circumstances condone bad behaviour*" **if caught on video** "*of our police officers,”*
