Those children need to be placed in detention. This act is very serious and signs of troubling psychological issues in at minimum the alphas in the group and poor reasoning skills among the followers.

They also need pschological counseling and to be placed on probation for 5 years minimum. Their parents should also be assessed and if possessing the same serial killer in training, bullying mindset, they should also be placed into extended psychological counseling

Some general statements: Gambling inclusive of casinos is a shady business with a seedy underbelly including drug peddling, sex trafficking and human smuggling. Property acquisition is the most common form of money laundering. Money cant buy a good name.

A specific statement: gaming is causing havoc in our inner cities compounding an already significant poverty crisis.

These children didn't have marijuana cookies or gummies did they?

"*saying their care is on par with international institutions.*"

I'm not certain this is true. The other day the GG commented on how clean the nurses uniforms were and you dont see that when you go outside the country. It was such a profound statement, because nursing is a *dirty* job. Reflects the ill placed focus Bahamians give to presentation over substance. I recall someone saying, "*all I need to be an MP is a good suit*", and they were quite serious. And clearly correct.

The Bahamas' problem is corruption.

There are people who could fund 10 *1000 times better than PMH* hospitals but will not do it because they have no idea what will happen to 2/3 of the money once it passes through parliament, no idea what shady contractors will be handed overpriced contracts and no idea of when the project would actually be finished

Corruption is stifling our country in every way. Has North Andros gotten 10 ATM machines as yet? How much money has been funneled to Cat Island and Exuma in contracts?

"*businesses and residents had experienced frequent challenges with **that** (singular) ABM over the past **two years***"

The people have Stockholm syndrome.

I'm baffled how parliamentarians can walk into the House every week with head held high while Bahamians living like they in 1850 and billions in contract work and investment gets funneled to Exuma and Cat Island. This another story the world should pick up on

Lol. I hadnt thought of this! But as there's an overwhelming and neverending supply and feed cost is zero, price should not be an issue

This is a good initiative. Local food production is a need especially when crisis hits, but they have to outlast the good times too. I wonder if they will be able to bring prices to match that of imports. It's all well and good to have local production but if people cant afford the prices... people eat corn beef spam hotdogs and ramen noodles for a reason.

"*Bruce Raine, who recently switched from the New Providence vacation rental space to long-term leases, told Tribune Business: “I think Airbnbs and vacation rentals are going to take a hit if we cannot get it quieted in a reasonable space of time. Airbnbs are everywhere. They don’t have to come here or go to our Family Island as they do.*"

Would like to know why he made the switch and is it long term leases targeting expats specifically or also supported by local leasees? Did he see management issues with the airbnb space, was it the increasing taxes or was it saturation that made it not so attractive?
