Ok. How many cars do they estimate passed through the area? How many officers were standing around for 3 hours? What was the cost of that? What was the nature of these violations? How many of them were severe? 38 sounds very low for a dragnet operation. Use technology for traffic violations please. Technology with a maintenance plan and dont go with these companies that throw out million dollars prices like peanuts, assess what's being given the cost of the infrastructure, do an audit to determine if they purchased what they said they would at the quality they said they would, see who's on the payroll and if they're qualified for the job, if they're executing the job as they're allegedly being paid, these are the kinds of things we need to do to bring law and order and weed out corruption.

Marco's alert was a 6000 per year initiative for infrastructure. For manpower, the police force is monitoring the alerts so maybe 4 technicians at a cost of 200k. But we paid 4.3m for a 3 year contract. When we send these RFPs we need to know beforehand the approximate value of what we're asking for. If you need someone to build a spaceship they could charge what they want is only one of them. But text messaging for 4m dollars? Seriously?

A Mexican female was raped on Paradise island on Jan 27, the report didnt say if she was a tourist or resident.

Avoidance is a normal human reaction. When Bahamians heard about an employee being shot at a gas station in East St South guess what happened? According to the owner business took a dramatic nose dive. We cannot then say why the tourists dont want come off the ship crime only over in this corner. While we can make these micro distinctions between east west north and south, to the tourist this all Nassau. In some cases every island is Nassau.

It's called grace.

All of us get it in some form because noone is perfect. But there's always a price to pay for the life we lived even with grace, for some it might be a physical deformity for some an illness,, for some its reputational damage and for some it's the loom of a grudge.

"*The Ministry of National Security has engaged former (opposition) Senator Rodney Moncur as a consultant on crime … We have said that violence interrupters were a key component in solving the issue. We are using community leaders in our approach.”*

**The answer is in the statement above, there was never a program called "*Violence Interrupters*".**

**Rodney was engaged as a *consultant on crime*, in his consultancy role, he was included in a group that were *described* as "violence interrupters". As said "*consultant*" he was clearly expected to have an impact on crime as he had roots in the community.**

Again the govt practices the art of deception with the notion that the program that isnt working hasnt started. **The truth is the program that "is", that did contract Rodney and Mr Reid either hasnt worked as planned or has proven ineffective** and the Minister of National Security has yet to tell us to date exactly what they have been contracted to do, the cost and how many other people are receiving salaries for mysterious work with no results and no reporting.

The govt continues to shoot itself in the foot. A part of the solution is definitely to involve capable people in community outreach programs, but not this shady nonsense that's going on to give supporters salaries. Under this wishy washy scheme with no parameters they could give all their campaign generals, some of whom are said to be gang leaders, salaries to literally do nothing.

They need to stop playing around. These violence interrupters need clear guidelines on what they're supposed to be doing and if it's not working use the money for something else or find people irrespective of party lines with intentions other than collecting a salary for doing nothing

They need to enhance Bain Town, East St, Market St, Blue Hill Road and Wulff Road, Fox Hill, Bernard Road and make the entire area beautiful and greenspace dense like Central Park so the women walking there could feel comfortable. That would be "*Urban Renewal*"

We need to stop these myths and deceptions we perpetrate to our people so foreign interests can take our beaches and private islands

"*We don’t get any record as to what’s happening on the private islands. No commercial records.”*

Sometimes I forget that this is Narnia, if someone see Aslan ask him how much and what kinds of goods are being shipped to Bahsmian islands, cause the govt dont know

I find these statements about media reporting murder to be strange, as if they're responsible. Murder is reported as the top story **everywhere** because a murder is a top story. The goal isnt to hide bad news the goal is to be aware of every bit of it and determine if we can stop more of it from happening.

To your first point **exactly**, *it was a way to pacify people*. To dull the impact and stress of the coming carnage and PTSD associated with trauma. But to your analysis, the one fact you miss is that **all** drugs even the ones deemed helpful to mankind can have differing effects on different people. Some people in fact rather than being pacified become violent. The local terminology is "*trip out*"

You and others want to continue the narrative that there are no harmful effects of marijuana use. The first clear and present danger is it dulls the mind. That's the sole purpose of taking it. I mean how much more dull do you want our people?
