"*Only Deltec - an overseas bank known not to be co-operative with foreign law enforcement requests - has records detailing the breakdowns of funds within its own accounts. As a result, it became more difficult to track the proceeds of the fraud once they entered the subject account.”*

I was almost certain this was a scam to sell our beloved swimming pigs on the meat market

So when the device is at a certain level the individual is either responsible for recharging or to head to the jailhouse where they can sign until their device is fully charged. Place the responsibility on them. I'm certain everybody would chose to recharge on time at home

The average Bahamian looks down on their Caribbean counterparts as less developed, but I mentioned to someone last week that I've never seen the ubiquitous presence of potholes in Barbados and they have quadruple the road mileage we have. They have rain too.

They also have a proper bus system, bus terminals, buses on regular schedules, buses that go everywhere and their country is far bigger than ours and dollar is half the value. How is this possible? It HAS to be by design. Ingraham road has also not fallen into potholes. **Someone at the ministry needs to explain the difference in materials, the difference in composition and the difference in technique. Cause these guys becoming millionaires selling us overpriced garbage**

I had a big laugh when the ministry reported theyd be using AI to detect the start of a pothole, my first reaction was some white salesman get them to buy overpriced useless not designed for our environment Shotspotter
technology again. As I walked the street and saw 4 inch holes appearing I thought there's your pothole in 8weeks and I must be the economy version AI

**The next ripoff is those hills and valleys construction abominations they want us to believe are sidewalks**

Its oversimplification to say BECs problems are because materialistic people are buying iPhones. When in fact the bulk of the outstanding payments were shown to be corporate clients with hundreds of thousands of dollars owing.

Nevertheless, outstanding Bill's are a minute problem compared to a convicted bribe taker pushing though a deal to purchase faulty engines, ineffective cleaning of fuel spills, orders coming down from politically assigned incompetent (meaning no skills to lead in that industry) executive manager to turn on engines without proper safety protocols, in combination leading to a massive fire, the burn down of an entire plant in Andros and no report of any kind of fire retardant system (I assume they exist for power plants), no talk of early notification of the fire brigade, the entire thing just burned unnoticed, firing of an entire board so the minister could push a deal he wanted, .. the current state of BEC has little to do with eyelash extensions. Its gross mismanagement and corruption

So in additional to allowing Sam to calculate margins on his fingers and toes, the SEC allowed him to move clients money from FTX to a company that had no legal authority to operate in the Bahamas. The best defense they can claim is *we didnt know*, basically giving up the game.

With this revelation can Brave Davis still go around the world and claim that FTX had the best regulatory oversight? The one thing Im certain of is this isnt the last time the Bahamian regulatory framework will be called into question laying the perfect foundation for client lawsuits

They dont have to pay. They had an option to leave and they left. Intelligent administrators would be reassessing to determine if the prices were reasonable or unreasonable and whether the loss of business was barely noticed or had a negative impact
