Will be interesting to find out what the reporting requirements were and if it's the case, how it would be possible for monies to be commingled after the FTX fiasco for such a visible company

Potters Cay, Arawak Cay and Montagu are a mystery of 30-50 years of mess
I've come to the conclusion that these shantytowns exist because this is what people are largely used to, subpar construction, too close living quarters, unsanitary conditions, no foliage to speak of. These are the conditions the majority of Bahamians live under so its "culture". Wheres the evidence? The spread of the modern day Junkanoo beach shantytown. I remember my horror when I saw the first few shacks spreading. They appear to be quite proud of it though as a tourist "hub". It's quite funny that they "manage" and hand out licenses for it.
They did do a good job cleaning up the Montagu park area for some years but they've since hired a shantytown organizer who is now "organizing" a trash heap of billboards and ramshackle stalls for the area
Not sure why you came to the conclusion, because he held the clinic? I wont say you're wrong but I'd be surprised after his less than positive experience. I believe the primary purpose of the clinic is to get new customers. We could both be wrong and the primary purpose could just be to help or give back in some way...
Its hard to determine what the PMs convictions are. Im pretty certain that he's generous to the people in Cat Island, Ive heard enough accounts about that. But other than that I dont know. He reads eloquent speeches crafted by a master writer about innovation, climate change, transparency, accountability and teamwork in cabinet... but there's no evidence that he believes any of it.
On the other hand, there are multiple instances proving otherwise, the most shocking being that the individual who spoke up internally about anomalies at Immigration, because I have no evidence she spoke externally, is being punished by Mr Davis with early retirement. That is not the action of a man who believes in transparency, accountability, innovation or stamping out corruption. Its the action of someone who believes in secrecy and having very tight control to facilitate them doing whatever they feel like.
Im also troubled that the PM has appointed himself the sole authority over the carbon credits fund. Ive no evidence that it will hold a dime, but he believes it could hold billions and he's made himself the ultimate authority over it.
As the editor implies, his actions are horrifying tells
You're correct. Investors with preference shares get first dibs at everything. I'm going to go out on a limb that the people I'm referring to, dont have preference shares, but I could be wrong
Not sure about his English or if its important, but people are equally impressed by the words that come out of Brave Davis' mouth on climate change. Meanwhile at home the practice of cutting down hills for fill and allowing oil distributors to have secret deals on fines continues. Dont mind the nice speech, someone else likely wrote it. Dont mind the wealth it's on the backs of hundreds of thousands living in abject poverty
