I should have phrased another way, a price increase tomorrow or next week due to **this** announcement yesterday is **unlikely** to be justified

This is my point to @bonefish who doesnt seem to get it, IR is acting like they're dealing with maximum security prisoners or enemies of the state. Send the people an email, a phone call a text message, it takes much less effort to do that than this other.

"*I*" ***like*** to say I went off to school in a first world country??? Nothing could be further from the truth. I see the issue, you have a problem with reading comprehension

Again @bonefish, you completely miss what I said the *last* time, we are in total agreement that people should pay taxes and that there is a problem with tax evasion, the only thing we disagree on is the methodology. And literally the only element of that I have a problem with is the fact that the businesses werent afforded some *direct* notice before the heavy handed tactics were used. As I said multiple times, I'd be okay if this were the 3rd **direct** contact to collect. These aren't hardened criminals

"*Minister of Labour Keith Bell also expressed excitement for the IHOP franchise. He said now Bahamians can enjoy the restaurant in the country first hand*"

We have no strategic goals. 2 weeks ago Dr Darville and Brave Davis were wringing their hands covering themselves in sackcloth and ashes about the rate of obesity in this country and how "alarming" it was. And right before our eyes heart attack city opens and the Sugar Factory is referred to as a downtown "attraction". People need jobs yes but what do we tell the single mother who thinks she has to weigh an option to prostitute herself to feed her kids? There must be a better way.

So OPEC made the announcement to slash production yesterday. We'd have to know the purchase cycle of the local dealers and we'd have to see what the US does with their oil supply in response before we start wringing hands. This does not mean gas jumps by a dollar tomorrow or next week.

"*It’s a process,” Mr Wilson explained. “Once we gather information and think we have probable cause we’ll take action. We have to get a court Order. We have to go to court under the legislation and present information in order to seize equipment, goods and records and so forth.”*

The one important step missing from the process is communication. Whats the goal? To get people compliant or to be the strongman?

Wrong again. Thank you. Roosevelt know what I mean, the true definition of power in leadership as opposed to beating everybody over the head to show you in charge

He's clearly getting money from whomever he pitched the project to, they saw the growth potential, decided to back him, now they see a legal avenue for appeal and wish to proceed with it. Many people have tried to float the narrative that he doesnt have the funding for the project as a justification to reject him, clearly that isnt the case.

The problem is way bigger than those 2 men. Many "respectable" men in expensive suits are preying on their female employees and mentees. The only difference is name recognition and willingness of the police to prosecute. This is why we need to select our leaders on character and ethics, popularity is not enough.

Something is happening. Men are by nature sexual creatures but this is an aberration. Our minds are being fed a constant diet of sex, marijuana, gambling and alcohol highs. I've heard some people plant seeds about legalizing prostitution. It's the exact opposite of what we need. We need young men to start thinking soberly not to be taught that every vice should be indulged
