The next problem they have is people asking, *so what they get?*

Bahamians "*own*" 49% of BTC. You drank the koolaid

The problem with that statement and the problem on Brave Davis and Chester Cooper's hands is public perception. And perception is one of the foundations of political support. By the letter of the law, Toby apparently had no legal claim to a lease, but that is far from what the public perceived and it is far far far from what both Chester Cooper and the PM allowed Toby and the public to believe they would support if elected. **Everyone understands that Brave and Chester could have said, *ah, it looks like "legally" you didnt have a valid lease but we support Bahamians, and we'll honour what you had more than reasonable justification to believe you had***.

Too many people in this country have been victimized by political forces not to understand what happened. I get why they did it, RCL have more money than Toby, if we ignore any possibility of corrupt intentions, on the surface that means a better result for the country. Unfortunately the people on the street dont respect that view and history has taught us it don't matter how many billions an investor cones on with, all the people seem to get is maid, butler and short term construction jobs. Yes theyre better than no jobs at all, but just like the greedy politician, the average bahamian who works hard also wants the opportunity to move upward. Thats what Toby represented, and the *perception* is Brave and Chester allowed that dream to be destroyed. Thats their problem

"*the Junkanoo Beach portion developing without any structured management or plan. This, Mr Klonaris said, is making the area less attractive to both locals and tourists.*"

Y'all is wait too late. From the moment I saw 3 of those shanty town boxes going up on long wharf I asked right here what was going on??? That was years ago. I see the day when the entire stretch from arawak cay straight up to the big multi-story box will be littered with those 2x2 box dwellings. They expanding on both sides and it looks like a gigantic mess

About a month ago the contagion spread east, a 2nd shantytown box was erected on Montagu beach. Stay tuned..

Oh wait, now they give RCL a 150 year lease to develop more of the same and described it as "*more attractions*". You cant make up the visionless thinking. Clearly RCL wanted to replicate junkanoo beach minus the black people, cuz short sightedly people are spending money.

"*I am not prepared to interpret the electoral data as the FNM having less than 50,000 supporters.*"

Correct.

**The FNM has less than 50,000 CORE supporters**

Core supporters will vote for them no matter what nonsense they might do. Above them you have independent thinkers who wont support perceived foolishness but wont vote for the other party. On top of them you have swing voters who will vote for either party if they align with their standards.

You my friend are delusional. Oban een had nothing to do with COVID. How many times Minnis garnered outrage and had to come in parliament with that fake I sorry I was wrong speech? Before COVID?

And I know you forget that even Jeff Lloyd the man who say Minnis was the greatest PM ever had to reluctantly admit he had no clue what those ridiculous Oban mosquito movements was (you know how the mosquito is be going here and there and you cant figure out where it guh show up next). You forget when the entire caucus threaten to resign eh? Cuz they didn't want the public heat on them for what Minnis unilaterally decide to do

You and the other 325 FNMs who lobbying for Minnis to be leader of the FNM could go and take over Ragged Island. The place he gone on 60mins before covid and dorian to say he would revolutionize

Exactly what did 49% stake in BTC do for us?

ThisIsOurs says...

I dont understand this. It's like these people in a 500 member "party echo chamber". Doesnt he understand that there are 60,000 people, not in the party, who will never vote for the FNM ever if his name is anywhere in sight?

Sacrilege

Something is wrong at the ministry of finance. It's like someone there is either dead set on creating chaos in the economy or simply has no **real** understanding of economics, and both Brave Davis and Michael Halkitis appear to be sitting back and letting them do whatever they want. And this isnt isolated to a single administration. You can have all the talented technocrats possible, if the person with power is doesnt listen and or doesnt understand no wise or progressive decisions are possible. The impact on medical cost was not rocket science, the impact from the price control was not rocket science, neither was the impact from minimum wage. Next is AirBnb, not rocket science

The only alternative to them not knowing what they're doing is the country is on the verge of collapse
