"***During a groundbreaking ceremony** on Long Island on Monday, one of the developers behind the planned cruise port and resort, called the Calypso Cove, revealed the company was “**still in the process of doing all the analysis as well as the environmental impact assessment**” for the project.*"

This makes no sense. Who will be motivated to tell them to stop once the hype and promises of jobs coming has already been given? Dumbing down especially our out island people once again. They will squeeze a circle into a round circle to ensure forward movement just like the Bahamar emails revealed on the quality of some construction work, "*cant you fake it better?*"

Why do they dumb down our people? Look what y'all do to birdie. Does he remember when Dionisio Daguilar smiled broadly and boasted in the house that "*tourism was hot!*"?? It was days before COVID...and while tourism was hot, with greater than ever seen before tourism numbers, we were in a recession! that nobody wanted to acknowledge. Just like they refuse to admit one coming. We were at 1% growth that some hung onto with bleeding fingernails to report as good news because "*1% is still growth!*"

Let's stop giving dumbed down messages and propaganda to our people about how great things are and actually spend the time strategizing. I dont know what walking downtown with a big entourage does, everybody already know what the problems are

You forget the only reason he was arrested was because the US did an investigation and supplied evidence of a crime. Accoding to our police, they waiting on the SCB for info. This "catch" is all USA

Just a general statement, the Bahamas loves rich criminals, George Smith former MP told us in 2020(?) "*why does it matter how you made your money*"?

US Marshals. ok. Imagine if he did make a run for it, could any of those officers catch him if both Marshalls tripped over their shoelaces? They need to do something to encourage a lifetime of fitness on the forces. Let the chefs work with UB to find a healthier way to make the things we like that also taste good. Maybe annual fitness contests over various disciplines, land and water, with some lucrative prizes. It could be the start of a mindset change for the country

I know how hard it is to lose weight. Its a whole deeper issue than just telling someone dont eat rice. But I do believe our military branches have an upper hand on most of us. Their job requires them to be fit. Look at those FBI guys compared to our senior offices. This shouldnt be. Netflix will not be kind to us

Theres enough money flowing into this country to alleviate all these problems. They would have us believe there isnt but there is. The first syphoning is at the gatekeeper level. How much shingles do you think are purchased every year by govt officials? Year after year the US State Dept issues a report detailing accounts of US businesses being victims of alledged extortion attempts for contracts. How many dont report and simply pay? How many unqualified people are employed causing blockages in productivity because they know a politician? How many MPs are on govt boards and in ministerial positions completely unqualified for a leadership role but in place because they have favour in the party? On an annual basis what is the dollar value of all this? Theres money to solve our problems.
