Dont mind the messenger, they're correct, the data doesnt match the hysteria. One South African doctor on cnn.com referencing reports said the numbers are decreasing, case counts are going up because more people are testing, people are chosing to test rather than vaccinate.

Exactly!

Extremely dismayed that many have failed to recognize the distraction for what it is. People still believe this is about denying kiddies access to cotton candy.
It means we're failing to think independently of whats being fed to us.

For 2 years for example, the COVID spread was everything to do with *Bahamians who cant behave* and suggesting the spikes had anything to do tourist travel was ludicrous... again because thats the narrative they fed us.

This inability to think has very very bad implications for our ability to move forward. We're becoming the dystopian novel with the broadcast speakers telling the citizenry what to think

That carnival story leaves one to wonder who else the party is receiving beneficial donations from in return for the party facilitating ease of access by questionable means

Don't "encourage" them to be honest. Enact sweeping legislatives recorms that include penalties for ethical violations. That *its not illegal* is the cover they use over and over again

*well giving crown land to my wife didnt look good but its not illegal*, *exempting the carnival from taxes doesnt look good but the party in power has been doing it for years*, *well, giving contracts to your constituents without a procurement process is a standard practice, both parties do it? its jobs. Its not illegal*

What exactly does the health visa for returning Bahamians do? Im curious. To get on a plane back home, those people still have to take a PCR test. So by the most stringent standard possible they will be deemed to be COVID negative before entering the country.

Please someone explain what the travel visa adds to the process? Because we know for sure that nobody checked the 6000 visas for the travellers who arrived over the weekend. All they did was collect data for email campaigns. Thats it.

As to contact tracing. If any one of these passengers turns up positive, they are interviewed and asked for a history of their movements. One question being did you travel. So what does the health visa add?

And what other entities the party in power has "business" relationships with that benefits thdm financially for facilitating the business operation's unfettered access and freedom to operate under the *when you in charge is your turn* rules
