Many cried for the Cay to open... well now it is. Nassau will be lockdown soon again. This thing ain goin' away. Our numbers here in GB are still 8, I hope it stays that way. The PM cannot rule anyone, in fact, now more than ever there is the need for personal discipline. So they go mix and mingle and then stuff happens then we blame the gov't. Nassau needs to realize they have the most, no other island numbers are moving higher. The police are tired. They work the curfews, they work the streets, now they calling on them to enforce COVID rules. It is sickening. Perhaps its time to reclose that Arawak Cay for prevention purposes!!

IF you can check Yahoo news sometime today you would see that Las Vegas open on Monday.. dem buggers already carrying on as though there was no Corona at all. They not wearing mask, partying like crazy, no protocol what so ever. Some of those may end up here.

HE shed a lot of light. now I see what they carried on in the graveyard like that. But he took too long. It almost seemed like a personal vendetta against the gov't as he proclaims the charge in the house yesterday. All those ministries should not have been involved. It was a real sensitive matter...to little too late, the damage is done

This is an interesting case we have here. We in a mess if we open and in a mess if we don't....How long can the treasure last? Everything is coming out and nothing is goin back in. COVID19 isn't going away anytime soon as HJ said.. whether we open or stay close and even with a vaccine. We have to find a way to live through it and still live. I support opening.

Its old news... It was straight forward. The protocol was breach and he resigned. He didn't want too, but many on here call for it. So we all know why, no secret...it as plain as the nose on my face. What is left to explain? I was surprised the reporter brought it back it. We don't need anything else. Guys we stuck with them for another year and almost 11 months, then you can fix it at the poles. Maybe the other guys feel they could do a better job

I was thinking about this. Oct 12, 1492... it was like the Bahamas was born. .. and the holiday on that date reflects it. History shows that Columbus did alot of foolishness and introduce the Europeans to islanders and they took it even further. But we can't ignore the fact that even though he did foolishness he also responsible for Bahamian history, that is all we know. I'm sure those who sign the partition would not be signing it had this George Floyd incident didn't arise. But I do see their argument.
